If it is the HALL sensor at the wheels, it is the small nub at the end of the electrical cable going down to each brake caliper. There is teeth on the rotor that pass very close to this device that generates a small AC current that the ABS system picks up telling it that the wheel is in motion. If the sensor is too far away (or dirty?) it wont register and the ABS will think the wheel is not moving, ie. locked up in a skid.

get IT test from toyota motors@Rs 1000/-.Tey will tell u any one or both rear sensors faulty.Get the sensor along with hub from bilalganj lahore@Rs 4000/ and get it changed from mechanic.Any problem contact me at email [email protected]

Have your vehicle's computer scanned for the ABS system by your mechanic or dealer. The computer scan will tell you what component or sensor(s) are in need of servicing. You still have normal braking, but the abs function will be disabled until serviced.
No idea in all honesty and i would need a play under the bonnet to find the problem but my main suspect would be a damaged wiring loom ,caused by taking the engine out the top ,i always lower the engine out through the bottom thus ensuring less damage to anything

Possible that one of your abs sensors is bad. Better do a diagnosis for more information.
