Rex08, have you checked the bulbs? This truck is rare in that the ABS light will come on when the brake light bulbs go out.

If the lights are on all the time check the adjustment of the switch on the pedal. Don't adjust it too far in, you will have slight brake application while you are driving which is not good.

How to fix shifter stuck in park 2005 ford escape

In general this type saftey feature is released by pressing the brake pedal. If that doesn't work check and see if your brake lights work OK. Often its the same electrical circut that powers the shift lever lock release that lights the brake lights. Many vehicles will have a manual over ride. It is usually a slot or little removable plug or plastic panel you remove that let's you release the locking mechonizum at the shift lever. This should not be used as a way to drive a vehicle with non functional brake lights on the road instead of getting them repaired.

The dome light does not come on when the doors are open and when the vehicle is running there is a light on on the dash indicating that the door is open?

The dome light is probably burnt from being on, because the door latch is bad and sending a signal to keep the dome and door light on.

03 ford escape will not start, no clicking no nothing when trying to start, is not acting like battery problems

Check to see if Brake lights work. There is a safety switch which completes the starter circuit and it is mounted on the Brake pedal lever.

It is common for this switch to be hit by the Drivers' feet.

YOU CAN REPLACE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH BY YOUR SELF NOT A HARD JOB AT ALL.WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS REMOVE THE TRIM PANEL BELOW THE STEERING COLUMN.UNPLUG THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AT BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH. TO LOCATE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH LOOK UP AT BRAKE PEDAL ARM.YOU WILL SEE A SWITCH TOUCHING BRAKE PEDAL ARM.THAT THE SWITCH YOU WILL DISCONNECT UNPLUG THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FROM BRAKE SWITCH. REMOVE THE COTTER PIN.AND DISENGAGE THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH FROM THE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD AND FROM THE PIN ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. PUT EVERY THING BACK VISA VERSA.
