Did you replace the mode door actuator ? Manual or automatic HVAC system .

When replacing the HVAC control module it will be necessary to allow the HVAC control module to perform a calibration process. When installing the HVAC control module be sure to perform the following:
Important: Do not adjust any controls on the HVAC control module while the HVAC control module is self-calibrating. If interrupted, improper HVAC performance will result.
Place the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect the scan tool.
Install the HVAC control module.
Connect all previously disconnected components.
Start the vehicle.
Wait 40 seconds for the HVAC control module to self-calibrate.
Verify that no DTCs have set as current DTCs.
When replacing the HVAC actuator it will be necessary to allow the HVAC control module to perform a calibration process. When installing the HVAC actuator be sure to perform one of the following:

Preferred Method (w/ Scan Tool)
Clear all DTCs.
Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
Install the HVAC actuator.
Connect all previously disconnected components.
Start the vehicle.
With the scan tool, initiate the Motor Re-calibration feature of the Heating and Air Conditioning Special Functions menu.
Verify that no DTCs have set as current DTCs.

Alternate Method (w/o Scan Tool)
Clear all DTCs.
Place the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Install the HVAC actuator.
Connect all previously disconnected components.
Remove the HVAC B fuse for a minimum of 10 seconds.

SOURCE: my 2004 gmc envoy loses engine pressure when i

Don't know what you mean by engine losing pressure, but as far as the air not coming out of the correct vents, try the following;
Pull the HVAC-B (#36) fuse for 30 seconds (located in rear fuse panel, under seat), then put it back in. Then turn the ignition switch to RUN (no need to start the engine). Don't touch ANY controls for 90 seconds. I don't think it matters what position the controls are in, but some people think it works better if you have the HVAC system turned off. After 90 seconds, the actuators have gone through their paces, the controller has new memory data on the end stops of the rotation of each actuator, and you might be good to go

I have a 2003 envoy xl. heat and ac only come out driver side defrost & left vent.No air or heat out of driver or passenger floor .Passenger vent and defrost is cool air only

Air temperature and delivery are controlled via small actuators on the heating, ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC) box located behind the dashboard. These actuators operate doors inside the HVAC box in order to channel air through different passages to achieve the desired result. A "blend" door actuator can channel air through the heater core, around the heater core or a mix of these two to achieve the desired temperature. A "mode" door actuator can direct airflow to the ducts that lead to the defrost vent, front vent, floor vent or a mix between. When a vehicle has dual climate control (where driver and passenger sides of the vehicle can have different air temperatures) there can be multiple of actuators of each type which can make diagnosis difficult. The first step would be to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from the HVAC Control Module using an advanced level scan tool; these codes help determine the location of the issue and if it's an electronic or mechanical failure. Electronic failures would include items such as HVAC control module failure, actuator circuit failure or actuator failure. Mechanical failures would include items such as actuator failure or internal HVAC box door failure. 2004 GMC Envoy thermostat replaced and now the dash vents are not working

When thermostat was replaced, the battery was probably disconnected and that caused the HVAC system to lose its calibration. To initiate the calibration properly, first set all HVAC controls to their OFF or CCW positions. Then disconnect the battery for about a 2 - 3 minutes, then reconnect. Do not touch any of the controls for about 2 minutes. If this does not fix the vent problem, you probably have a bad or stuck actuator, or a stuck vent door.

Changed battery in my 2004 GMC Envoy and now my a/c only blows from the dash and rear vents. What could be wrong and where is the part located on the vehicle?

There are a couple of possibilities, one is that the HVAC system lost its calibration during the battery change or the actuator that controls the vent door has gone bad.
To recalibrate the HVAC system, set all HVAC controls and switches to OFF or fully CCW positions. Disconnect the battery for about 3 - 4 minutes, then reconnect the battery. Do not touch any of the HVAC controls for a few minutes, then try the controls to see if the air flows correctly.

2006 GMC Envoy.. Changed the battery, and now the A/C will not blow out the front vents. Works on defrost and on the floor, and in the back. What's the deal?

the deal is that your a/c doors are now out of calibration. disconnect battery for 1 minute, hook battery back up. now turn key on, DO NOT START THE ENGINE, let it set for 2 minutes, now start engine, it should now work.

Try recalibrating the HVAC system first. Set all HVAC controls and switches to their OFF or CCW positions, then disconnect battery for a couple of minutes, reconnect battery and don't touch any of the HVAC controls for 2 - 3 minutes. If this does not correct the problem, you may have a stuck blend door or another bad actuator.

Could be one of two things, HVAC needs to recalibrate itself or one of the blend doors (or its actuator) is stuck. To accomplish the recalibration, set all HVAC controls and switches to their OFF or CCW positions, pull fuses # 36 and 39 in the rear fuse panel, wait about a minute then reinstall fuses. Do not touch any of the HVAC controls for 2 -3 minutes. If this does not resolve the vent issue, you will need to have the HVAC diagnosed by a technician.

Hi, please try a recalibration of the system as follows:
  1. Remove the HVAC B fuse (in the rear fuse block) for a minimum of 10 seconds.
  2. Install the HVAC B fuse.
  3. Start the vehicle.
  4. Wait 40 seconds for the HVAC control module to self-calibrate.
