I have an electrical problem with my 2008 Sierra desiel the passenger side turn signals cause the dome light fuse to blow and the front signals do not work

SO YOU DID NOT CHECK HOOD AND IP BOX FOR BLOWN FUSES
OR MISSING,RELATED.
6.6L DIESEL??????????????????
car drives ok day night? heads work ,parks work ,brake lamps?
DOMESTIC CAR USA NOT THE EXPORT RIGHT?

TURNS SIGS ALL 6 LAMPS DEAD? OUTSIDE CAR FRONT /REAR
AND DASH TURNS,(Indicated) all 6 dead
and same question on hazards 6 flashing or what.

LEFT FUSE ONLY GOES HOT WITH TURNS SWITCHED ON

RT /TURN FUSE.,, NOW WAY BOTH SIDES ARE BAD, THEY ARE INDEPENDANT AT THE 2 FUSES BUT NOT BEFORE.
IM READING THE SERVICE MANUAL TO YOU.
IGN-E FUSE KILLS ALL TURNS DEAD(AND HAZ) UNDER HOOD .
THE MULTI SWITCH CAN FAIL FOR BOTH HAS AND TURNS.

SO THE TU\RN FLASHER IS BAD IN THE IP FUSE BOX.
ITS BAD.
THOSE FUSES YOU TOLD ARE ARE DEAD KEY OFF, YOU DO KNOW THAT RIGHT>?
TCM FUSE? IS THIS A DIESEL NO ENGINE TOLD AT ALL
AND WIRING IS NOT THE SAME ON, ALL , MOSTLY
YOU MEANT PCM-B FUSE?
PCM1 IS KEY ON ONLY , MAKKED GAS ONLY MUST WE BEG FOR ENGINES SO DONT NEED TO REAR ALL 5 ENGINE SCEMATICS?

SOME CAB LAMPS ARE DEAD, IF BCM FAILS OR DDM DOOR BRAIN GOES DEAD. AND GOES BACK AGAIN TO
LT/TURN FUSE RUNS LEFT DOOR TOO!
DOME LAMP ASK BCM FOR LAMPS. TO GLOW SUPER SIMPLE
SWITCH TO GROUND

AGAIN THERE IS NO TCM ON A GAS ENGINE , TCM IS PART OF PCM

THE PCM HAS 2 POWER FUSES, ONE IS HOT ALL THE TIME FOR MEMORY AND OTHER IS KEY ONLY POWER.

THE TCM FUSE IS CALLED IGN0 AND IS RUN FUSE ONLY
IM NOW CHASING SHADOWS. OF 6 ENGINES MIXED

THE BLINKER BOX
HAS 2 INPUTS, HAS SIMPLE SPST PUSH BUTTON
NOT PART OF TURNS, AND 2ND IS TURNS LEFT AND RIGHT
SO USE BLOW OR MODEL BLINKS DEAD
LOOK MA' NO BCM
IF FUSE GOOD THE FLASHER IS BAD. FOR SURE HAZ BAD TOO.
AND THE LT FUSE BLOWN KILLS DEAD DDM, DRIVER DOOR BRAIN

check wiring for short

Circuit/System Description
Ground is applied at all times at G201 to the turn signal/multifunction switch. The turn signal lamps may only be activated with the ignition switch in the ON or START position. When the turn signal/multifunction switch is placed in either the TURN RIGHT or TURN LEFT position, ground is applied to the body control module (BCM) through either the right turn or left turn signal switch signal circuit. The BCM then applies a pulsating voltage to the front and rear turn signal lamps through their respective control circuits.

Did you check the RT STOP TRN fuse 15amp insturment panel fuse box.

If the fuse is good , you could have a wiring problem or the BCM is bad .

do you have a trailer lighting possible short there or where it was hit there is a wire pinched and shorted

Beings as everything that stopped working is on the passenger side, I'd think some wiring got disconnected or broken.

I'm not an expert on the electrical part of the 04 maxima. But I noticed on one of the websites I normally visit that it could be a blown bulb on the passenger side vanity mirror. Here's the quote:

2004 Maxima Tail Lights and Parking Lights fuse blows when interior dome light is on Discovered that my tail lights and parking lights fuse (next to the window washer box which took me a couple of hours to find!) would blow everytime I turned interior dome light on. First I thought it was my Ipod and then maybe moisture was getting in through a small crack in the left rear tail light. Sat in my car last night with a box of fuses and did everything one at a time. It was the turning on of my dome light that caused the fuse to blow. It was instant. I have a blown bulb in the passenger side vanity sun-viser flap. I will change that tomorrow and post an update.


He hasn't updated on the results of changing his vanity mirror bulb. I hope this helps...I hate car electrical problems...So hard to diagnose...

Sounds like you need to replace the drivers brake/tail light.

if they only stoped working on the passengers side I would check the wirring going into passengers side door for a broken wire, or right at the passengers side kick panel.

my dome light wont turn on at all and i dont know where the fuse is iv checked all my fuses and there fine could it be a capasiter
