The lights have little adjustment screws and the lights are either spring mounted or will have plastic inserts .The whole idea is to be able to move the lights side to side or up and down to a degree .The best way to adjust them is when its getting dark park in front of a wall or garage door turn the lights on so you can see witch way are pointing. You want the drivers side pointing slightly down and toward the middle of the road and the passenger side can be higher but under 45 degrees and more in line with the side of the road .Head lights are for outer people to see you. So you don't want to blind people coming the other direction head on crashes are never good.

How do I adjust the headlights on a 1994 silverado k1500

Your vehicle only has up/down adjustment as far as I know. You need a hex head to adjust them. A 7mm will work in a pinch. The adjuster is in the center of the headlight bracket just below the top of the bracket. You will see about a one inch hole with a recessed hex head for each light.

1994 silverado illumination on instrument panel doesn't work, parking lights and tail lights do not work but headlights and brakelights work fine. All fuses are good. Is this a bad dimmer switch?

No. Dash lights being out could be a bad headlight switch, since the dash lights are routed through the headlight switch, not the dimmer switch. Park and tail lights also controlled by the headlight switch.

How do you adjust a 1994 Jeep grand cherokee laradeo headlights?

There are two adjustment screws at the top of each headlight. They are visible when the hood is up. Use an Allen wrench (hex) of the proper size to turn one screw to adjust the height and the other for lateral adjustment.
It is best to position the vehicle on a level surface a facing a wall or garage door. The vehicle can be about 8 feet from the wall during adjustment.
Adjust the light left/right and up/down with those adjustment screws. The head lights should point somewhat straight ahead at the same height as the headlight itself and the same distance apart.
After adjustment, park the car on the street at night, turn light son and stand about 50 feet form the vehicle to see if either light (low beams) seem too high. It would appear brighter if it is too high, dimmer if it is too low.

How do you adjust the headlights on a 2000 model Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Raise the hood and look for two small screws on the headlight, one is closer to the radiator for side to side adjustment and the other is for up and down adjustment.

Replacing a headlamp bulb—1994 Trooper shown

  1. Disconnect the negative (−) battery cable.
  2. Open the hood and disconnect the headlight bulb electrical connector.
  3. There are two possible designs. For the first design, turn the bulb to remove it from the housing, for the second unscrew the retaining cap and remove the bulb.

WARNING Do not touch the glass portion of the halogen bulb. Any contamination on the bulb may cause the bulb to burst when turned ON. If the bulb is contaminated, clean the glass portion with rubbing alcohol.

  4. Hold the bulb by the plastic portion only. Install the bulb and connect the wiring harness. Make sure the sealing ring is in place.

Non-Aerodynamic

  4. Before installing, spray some silicone grease into the bulb socket.
  5. Connect the wiring and install the bulb.

The right headlight won't rotate to the up position.(1994 saturn)

The motor probably went out, or even a just fuse. There is a manual way to raise. There' a adjustment screw on top of the light, turn it until the headlight is up even with the other side. Good luck and keep me posted.

Headlight adjustment

If you park in front of a garage door or building you can line up the lights .right behind the headlight you will see two shafts sticking up just below the support the headlights are attached to. One will adjust lights up &down the other one will adjust side to side.
