SOURCE: Interior sunroof shade is stuck closed

a solution that i had is that if you can open your sunroof without it opening ur shade try that then fold the shade by pushing between or in the middle of it and popout the shade. this works but try not to push to hard or you can break the plastic runners on the side of the shade. check to see if nothing is in the way of the runners. then put back the back part first then slide it all the way to the back then, do the other part and clip them back together  (there might be a little metal piece that pushes your shades back so check that first to see if its there first)

SOURCE: how do i close the sunroof on my 1999 toyota camry? it is stuck open with the bottom shade stuck.

you may have to strip out the roof lining to gain access to the sunroof component if you cant pull the sun visor free , dont keep pressing the power button as could at the least blow the fuse , at worst burn out the motor

2000 olsmobile alero sunroof stuck open

HAVE SAME PROBLEM ON MY ALERO , WOULD CLOSE TO VENT POSITION ALL OTHER FUNCTIONS WORKED FINE. TALKED TO A MECH. FRIEND AND FOUND A WAY TO CLOSE MANUALLY BUT YOU DO HAVE TO DROP FRONT LEFT CORNER OF HEADLINER.
THE MOTOR IS UNDER SUNVISOR AREA AND YOU'LL NEED AN ALLEN(SPELLING)SOCKET TO CLOSE ROOF
