on the left side of the drivers side their is a panel with the hood release
Pull off the cover of the hood release and you will see a cable connected to the hood release. take some pliers and give it a good pull.
if you dont hear a click, have someone pull the hood up while you pull on the hood release cable. next their will be little space to take off the grille for easier acces.
take off the grille carefully by prying it off carefully on each side. push the grill up and pull it towards you going up then down.
Now all you have to do is stick a flathead screwdriver or philips. and on the bottom of the hood release on the hood stick the screwdriver under the release and push the screw driver down while pushing the hood up.

Try pulling on the hood release, while someone else lifts the hood. If this doesn't work. You can access the underside of the hood release by taking the front grille out. If you look closely you'll see the retainer screws that can be removed from the front. Once the grille is out or loosened enougt to get your hand in behind, you can release the hood latch from the underside with a screwdriver and then repair the hood latch after you've opened it.
