Shocks come with curved washers that are pretty thick. It sure sounds like the right side is just that: right.

SOURCE: top strutt bushing is destroyed

figure out what year and model you have. call a parts store and buy some quik-struts for your car. if the mounts are bad, so are the struts. quik-struts have a new spring and mount and are already assembled. that is your only real choice, all car parts go bad with age and use. the labor to remove the struts, disassemble them and replace the mounts then reinstall them is more than the cost of quik-struts.

SOURCE: actuaror rod goes down when I urn the key but the key wontpush it down enough to start it

The switch that the ignition actuator rod pushes on can be adjusted upward. Make sure the steering column itself isn't damaged though you can damage the switch if the column is worn out and you adjust it upward

How to change brake light bushing on 1998 nissan frontier

the break light switch has a needle like rod that pushes up against a flat plastic bushing. The bushing has probably fallen out. Without the bushing the rod has nothing to push against. So, your brake light stays on. I replaced mine with a rubber press screw that fits perfectly in the small hole. Rubber press screws are generally used to secure rubber splash guards under vehicles. They push in and don't back out. Now reattach your break light switch and the rod will now have a bushing to push against.

91 ford festiva,shifter stabilizer rod bushing....where do i find 1?

The shift stabilizer rod bushing can be purchased from "The Festiva Store" for about $8. It appears to be a polyurethane version of the original rubber bushing which is no longer available. Happy motoring!

I have a real problem getting intoo first gear. No problem with any of the gears

I need to know what model and year of car that you have. The most likely problem for bad shifts in a vw is that the bushing are worn out in the lower shift linkages of of the shift rod it's self. You can remove the rubber boot from the floor of the gear shift handle and you should be able to see the problem in the way it shifts. The clutch is not the problem or you would have a problem getting into all gears so start there.More info will be needed if this is an automatic,or if this a non-jetta based car,let me know what you have for a car please.

Am installing a starter motor. I have to remove

I wouldn't replace this bushing unless it's obviously worn out. I know of this recommended method when a puller is not available, pack the bearing bore with grease and use a socket and extension or similar rod that fits snug as possible in the bearing bore and hit this tool with a hammer as to use a hydraulic effect. the pressure of the grease will push the bearing out. This method is used on, rear wheel driven, flywheel bushing removal. Good luck!
