I lubricated the chain after I heard squeeks. I sprayed Tri Flo on the chain. I opened and closed the garage door to work in the lubing. The next morning, I pushed the button and the light flickered on and off as normal, but the garage door did not move. I had this happen several years ago, and after several days, it started working again. I forgot about this, otherwise I would not have lubed the chain. Does anybody know what the problem is???

Have you remembered to push the little button on the head of the garage door. most of the new ones use a rolling code and you have to push the button and make it flash, then you just hold your button on you home link, it blinks slow I think then blinks fast. and you are done.

Hi Wayne,Thanks for checking! About 2 weeks ago, I sprayed some CRC Electric cleaner in the morning toward where I thought the oil could have dropped in the engine. That afternoon, it was working again. About a week ago, since the squeak was still annoying, I sprayed some Tri Flow right at the latch area figuring it was far from the motor. It stopped the squeak, but the next day the opener stopped again, and CRC spray is not doing anything.
