SOURCE: Chev Cavalier 2003 only one rear turn/brake/hazard light

I have a 2002 Chev Cavalier that had the same exact problem. I replaced the bulb harness (purchased from a chevy dealership for around $5) which was fairly easy to do. I have had zero problems with it since.

2003 ford exloper sport xtl 4x4 brake lights dont work

Find the brake light switch mounted on the bracket right above the brake pedal. There should be power on the light green with red wire all the time. If there is no power check fuse 23 in the central junction block. If there is power check for power on the tan with black wire with the brake pedal depressed. If there is not power replace the brake pedal switch. If there is power there than it is possible that all the bulbs are burned out or there is a wiring issue to the rear lamps

well it sounds like you have a short fro junction block to taillights , make your own wire from where you know you have power to brake lights . and that will tell you where to go.
