There is a safety fuel cutout, it should have a yellow handel and in the back of the vehicle near the fuel tank. The manual will tell you where it is and how to reset it.

SOURCE: on my 1994 plymouth voyager the 3 wire harness to fuel pump (blue wire) doesn't have 12 volts; should it? fuel pump quit then worked once when hot-wired with 12 volts. fuse and relay is good.

The wire should not be hot until the relay is triggered. The relay does not get triggered until the ignition key is turned on. It will run for 3-5 seconds or until the system pressure it at max.

SOURCE: 1998 plymouth breeze that will not start

sounds like you jumped a tooth on your timing belt/chain. the wait to tell is first identify number 1 cylinder, then find number 1 on your cap, place a peace of tape right next to it or mark it with a sharpee marker or scribe a mark, however you do it mark it so you know where it is once the cap is off. then remove the cap and rotate the crank until you are at TDC (top dead cylinder) once there look at the rotor, if its not pointing at your mark than your valve timing is off and you need a new timing set. (if you cant find top dead then remove the valve cover and rotate the engine until all the valves on the number 1 hole are closed. once they are all close this indicates the compression stroke and number 1 is at TDC)

SOURCE: on my 1999 plymouth breeze 2.0 sohc. it cranks but wont start. Relays , fuses are good. But i dont hear the fuel pump

First key on you should hear pump run a couple seconds if you think it's the pump have someone crank it over and another pound on the fuel tank this sometimes makes the pump motor start to run, if it does that may be enough for you to drive to a shop for a new fuel pump.

Does a 99 Plymouth breeze havean inertia switch to shut fuel off

here is no switch. However, it does have an ASD relay (ASD = Auto Shut Down) that controls both spark and fuel. This relay on your car is in the fuse/relay block under the hood and should be clearly marked as "Shut Down" or "ASD" on the fuse/relay chart on the cover. These are easy to check since there are often several different relays that are the same in that block. Take one from a known good source such as A/C (just make sure the numbers printed on the top of the relay are the same) and swap them to see if it will start.

1.98 Plymouth breeze I ran out of gas ,I put more gas in .now it won't start.could it be the fuel pump relay or could it have anything to do with the air flow sencer.

May have drawn some water/alcohol into the fuel rail . How long did you attempt to start it ? Can you hear the pump hum when you first turn the switch on ? Try cycling the switch on and off about five or six times listening for the pumps humming to stop before cycling key again . This may help prime it up to the fuel rail .

Where is the fuel cut off switch in a 99 plymouth breeze

There isn't one on a Plymouth. In the Power Distribution Center is the fuel pump relay, and 2 pertinent fuses: Fuse #8 is a 20 amp fuse, hot at all times, and is the power feed for the pump relay. Fuse #10 is a 10 amp fuse, and is hot in run or start, and is the feed to the coil side of the relay. So hold your finger lightly on the relay while someone cycles the key from off to on. If the wiring at the relay is good, you should feel the relay click. If you don't feel anything from the relay, first check fuse #10. If the fuses are good, but nothing from the relay, you will have to look into the wiring for the relay. There is the power feed from fuse #8, the feed out to the fuel pump, the coil feed in from fuse #10, and the ground wire out from the coil side which goes into the PCM.

Your not resetting anything

1998 Plymouth Breeze not starting sounds like it wants to but wont catch

Maybe one of two things.....timing or fuel delivery. Check fuel pressure. Maybe a fuel pump which can be costly.

1998 plymouth breeze

If you keep popping fuses everytime you try to start the car, you have a bare hot wire grounding out somewhere. That will cause the fuse to pop everytime you turn the key on. the best way to fix it is if you know someone who is good with electrical wires. Have them pull the fuse panel out and follow the wire until they find where the wire is bare. Have them fix that bad spot and that should fix your problem.

Will not start

Open the air filter container. Spray some starting fluid in and see if it starts. If it starts, it is the fuel filter or fuel pump or both.
