SOURCE: REAR AIR BAG SUSPENION

I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at there conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. Airbags and compressors are constantly having to be replaced. Also something alot of people don't know is that theses air suspensions are not meant to be in temperatures above 90 Degrees or below 40 Degrees. That is most of the world. The temperature will cause you to replace alot of bags. and typically when your replacing a bag you are going to have to replace the compressor to because the bag had a hole or small crack in it causing the compressor to over work and it will die. I posted the link below so you can take a look http://www.strutmasters.com/lincoln-suspension-parts-s/1.htm I hope I was of some help Good Luck!!!!

SOURCE: 2003 Dodge Durango clunking noise in front end can

With the information given this is not a sure solution. Questions that need to be asked is when does this happen, turning at slow speedm high speed, when hitting a pot hole etc? Since you have replaced a lot of things already, assuming you have NEW good quality parts so you did not replace bad parts with new bad parts i would definitelu check the pitman arm. This runs from the stering gear to the tierod. It can give you some good clunks while steering, especially at low speed when there is a lot of resistance. Check it by having someone turning the steering wheel when watchin/feeling it.

Is a suspension spring compressing tool needed to change lower control arm/ball joint front

usually when the spring is above and over the upper control arm you jack the center of the car up until the wheel clears the ground.
At that point the lower ball joint can be removed. Hope this helps.

What tools are needed to replace the front right lower control arm on a 1999 Mercedes Benz E320

In order to replace the right front lower control arm you will a spring compressor. That's the most important tool you will need so that the spring does not fly out at you when you lower down the control arm. The control arm bolts are 21mm or 22mm nuts & bolts depending on if alignment adjust bolts installed or not. If adjustment bolts are installed then you will want to pay attention and note to which side the notches face so that you install them back into their original position. The ball joint nut will either be a 17mm or a 19mm. 16mm for the shock and a 22mm & 17mm for the sway bar link. Compressing that spring is the most important part of the jb though so don't forget to compress it.

I own a 1997 Nissan Maxima (43,000 miles) and it has a suspension problem. There are some squeaking sounds in the front suspension and are more notorious when the car is cold, recently I (not personally)...

I would suggest replacing the lower control arm bushings along with the sway bar bushings (4 pcs) in the then have a mechanic jack up the back and ascertain if any looseness is detected in the rear control arm assembly
