SOURCE: Windshield washer fluid pump quit. 2005 Jetta

I have a 2003 Jetta and the fuse box is between the dashboard and the drivers side door. There is a lid that covers it on the dashboard side. Inside there is a diagram/fuse card. The card has one top rectangular series of fuses numbered 8 through 23. Below is a square series numbered 24 through 44. The washer fuse is number 24 on the top left of the bottom square series. For me, I checked the fuse and it was good, therefore I am assuming that my pump is dead.

SOURCE: how do i check transmissiom fluid 2006 jetta

Hi there,

Jetta's 2006 carry sealed gear box. There is no dip stick to check the transmission fluid. Per manufacturer, transmission fluid requires to change unless there is any issue with transmission. I hope this helps.

What kind of transmission fluid does a 2006 jetta take?

The 2006 Jetta is NOT a sealed gear box and must have ATF levels checked. But the filler requires plug removal and you check by over filling slightly, when cold, by removing sleeved plug in pan. Not trivial.

No fluid from wiper

Either the pipework is blocked or the wiper motor is faulty.

Remove hose at window washer under the hood (Just one only), then switch on and water should be seen/ If not you need to gain access to the washer bottle and test / remove the pump and probably replace.

2006 Jetta TDI Tiptronic Maintenance

The tiptronic is not the DSG - two separate transmissions. You don't need to service the tiptronic every 40k like you do the DSG.
VW considers the fluid in a Tiptronic tranny as "lifetime" fluid - it doesn't need to be changed.
