2003 dodge dakota air conditioning fan has stopped working.

Cold air is trying to get into the vehicle cab, we can feel it when placing hand over a vent - but the fan/blower to push the air is no longer working. Unsure how to go about trying to fix this but would like to try to take care of it myself.

The diagram is for v6. The top wire at blower motor is voltage, the bottom wire is ground. Use a test light and check both voltage and ground. Key on--hvac on. If you have good voltage and ground with no blower action, suspect the blower motor. The blower motor is usually under the passenger side dash.

Check your owners manual or go online for manual there will be a fuse box location. in the cover is a legend to describe each fuse. Use a multi meter to check for power, there is a resistor bank located in blower housing remove and inspect. Isolate motor leads and check for continuity.

SOURCE: Cooling fan is not pushing air out.

That could be the blower motor resistor or the blower motor

Why is my 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 5.9L Air Condition compressor turning on all the time.

have the pressures checked in the a/c system. if its too low the compressor will turn on and off a lot. it could also be a faulty pressure switch.

My 2003 dodge 2500 has air condition issues.at idle it blows cold air as long as it sitting still.as soon as I start down the road and drive a few miles the air stops blowing cold.HELP

On a vehicle 11 years old, I would say
put gauges on it & then leak test it.
Most likely has a leak & is low on refrigerant
& when you move ,you put too many BTU's across
the evaporator from the cabin & it is not at 40 degress
to remove the heat

I think a bad crank sensor?

if the sensor fails, the vehicle won't start. some work while cold and fail when hot and the vehicle will stall and not start until the sensor cools off. always accompanied by a dtc (code)

My dodge dakota 4.7 starts without any problem and runs great for approximately one minute. It then starts floundering and will die. You can turn it off or wait for it to die, and restart it and it runs...

Sounds like you have a restricted fuel filter that is causing your vehicle to start sputtering because it can't meet the engine's demand for fuel and then dies when fuel is depleted. After your vehicle stops running, fuel starts seeping by and you can start it again with ease hot or cold and you get the same results moments later if this sounds right replace your fuel filter.

2000 dodge dakota quad cab 4x4 v8 air conditioning set on max stops coming out of the vents when accelerating or pulling a load and feels like it loses power, it doesn't do it on the next lowest setting....

Sounds like you are losing too much vacuum under acceleration. Possibly a partially stopped up converter, or bad intake manifold gasket. Possibly a bad door actuator in the heater box also, and the loss of power would be a seperate issue.
