Engine idle speed

You most likely have an engine vacuum leak causing the high idle speed.

Code for high idle is different,are you sure was 245?could be 225

Idle speed on most later model cars is automatically controlled by the on-board computer. If the idle is too fast, it is usually due to an intake leak somewhere on the engine, or a malfunctioning sensor. Either can cause this result. There is no "adjustment" to be done, but once the source of the problem that is resulting in the fast idle is corrected, it should return to normal.

The idle is controlled by the engine's computer and you do not solve the problem by trying to increase the engine speed - which you cant without changing computer settings.
There is a fault that needs to be identified that is causing too low an idle speed when the AC is operating if that is what you are describing. You need to have the vehicle checked by a dealer to see what fault codes it is throwing and identify what the issue is.

There is no cheapy quick fix solution.

Is hot idle speed RPM right near 800 and steady,not racing fast?

power loss, is the CEL lamp glowing running, yes,scan it.
post engine type exactly. one of these?
1.3 L I4 (petrol)
1.6 L I4 (petrol)
1.4 L I4 (diesel)
1.8 L I4 (diesel)

so its the first 2, as you said, coil, so its a GAS engine.
power loss, do the 60k tuneup
clean the MAF, sensor. if it has one. ask how. first.
does engine power return , at wide open throttle, held? up hill?
yes/no
if no, weak maf, air leaks or low fuel presssure
if power loss is only brief, then bad TPS.
my guess this engine, is MAP based, no MAF,
if so, then clean the nipple on the MAP sensors.
make sure its not clogged .
If the map works ,any air leaks cause fast idle. and FULL POWER>
so id bet the power loss is from low fuel pressures.
that is why i ask for WOT power up a hill, hot, got that.
if just tip-in power loss (recovers) that is a bad TPS.
the do wear out. easy, at 100k.

there are 2 EFI systems, which one yours has im clueless but can fix both , easy. (maf or map based) aka. air /speed density systems.

The engine coolant temperature is high. Your other Codes are for missing cylinders on cylinder 1,2,3,and 4. Get the Codes cleared and start over. Changing the plugs and wires,etc could have generated the missing cylinder Codes.

Autozone,Advance, and Oreilys will scan for free.

Check your engine for an IDLE SPEED CONTROL SOLENOID, which may be in the intake. Or a fuel pressure regulator.

A lot of times people work on the spark side and forget the fuel injectors. They can cause a miss.

1st run scans for fault codes.

petrol or diesel ?? if petrol is it a 1.6 zetec engine and not an american build with a monster engine?? ,well if its the zetec then i would check the power steering fluid level first then re poast if its ok
