What is an air lock

The engine air cleaner/filter is located in the engine compartment on the passenger's side of the vehicle. This information is covered in the Owner's Manual (with pictures) beginning on page 5-17. If you do not have an Owner's Manual, you can download a Free PDF version at the link below.

First....check your radiator...make sure its full. No water = no heat. Have you noticed that the knob controlling your heater has become much easier to move? If so, your cable may have come loose. Disconnect your Neg. battery cable. Remove radio, ac/heater control panel. This usually involves removing a few screws. Find your heater control valve located behind above items. You will see what looks like a plastic box behind the dash. On that box, you will find a cable mounted there that moves a lever back and forth. Make sure it moves the lever when you move your control knob. This is your heater control valve. While in there, look for any loose vacuum lines, connections, etc.
A little common sense goes a long way.
If anyone has been working on car in the same area i.e. radio..etc. this could cause one to investigate possible problems as a result.

NEW HEAD BOLTS ARE REQUIRED WHEN REPLACING THE HEAD OR HEAD GASKET.
you might have a cracked head or if you have a cracked head you might as well get a new car
