Hi
The filter for the screen wash bottle is usually situated on the washer bottle motor which if you follow the pipes from your washer jets it will lead you to it. There usually hidden behind the inner wheel arch liner
I hope this helps Nick

SOURCE: Mini Cooper 2005. My front windscreen washers do

If you can hear the washer motor running when you operate it then the fault is most likely caused by a small filter for the washer pump inside the bottle that blocks up.
You will need to remove the washer bottle and clean out the filter.

SOURCE: Mini Cooper P1689 code

P1689 - No communication between ECM & Injection Pump Module. This is why it's a hard start and the peddle isn't acting like it should. There's a problem where the (Computer) ECM, isn't making contact with the Injection Pump module. So the computer doesn't know what the pump is doing or sending. Could be a cut in the wires, corrosion, etc.. So many things it could be, fuel pressure is low.

SOURCE: error code on 2008 mini cooper s of CCID 031 what

Hi. Error CCID 031 means increased emissions. You need to refer to yuor card dealer and have this ting replace. DTML - It is a little pump/sensor that measures fuel vapor emissions from fuel system. If your gas cap seal is faulty or you have any fuel system pressure leak this pump runs to maintain pressure in the system. Normally it is not supposed to run. When it runs it sets of the Check Engine light.

White connector block Part.of radio harness Mini Cooper 2003

It is possible that the small white connector block is a steering wheel control interface. Some vehicles, including the Mini Cooper, have steering wheel controls that allow the driver to control certain functions of the stereo, such as volume and track selection, without taking their hands off the wheel. If your Mini Cooper does not have steering wheel controls, the connector block will not be used.
If you are unsure about the function of the connector block, you can try looking for a wiring diagram for your car's stereo system. This may help you identify the purpose of the connector block and confirm that it is not needed. Alternatively, you can consult with a mechanic or dealership technician for further assistance

I noticed little smoke coming from the right passenger side wheel after using breaks. I lifted the the car and took off the wheel but it feels a bit tight to rotate the disc.

Front or rear?
The Sounds like the caliper might be sticking. Is the wheel getting hot?
The rear brake has the emergency brake incorporated in it.
You need a special tool to retract the caliper it spins it back in while it presses.
Take the caliper off and clean and lube the guide pins with a grease for brake parts like Permatex 24115 Ultra Disk Brake Caliper Lube High-Temp Silicone. If rusted, replace the parts.
Make sure all the rubber protectors are in good shape if not replace them. They keep moisture from rusting the brake parts. If the caliper is frozen, just buy a new assembly and install it. Here a video that should help!
