Principles of Operation
The instrument cluster is a hybrid electronic instrument cluster (HEC). The instrument cluster gauges, warning indicators, and message center displays are either controlled and driven directly through hardwired circuitry, or the information is requested and received through the standard corporate protocol (SCP). The instrument cluster has self-test diagnostics capabilities using the diagnostic tool.

Dealer has the tool . really don't think ground wire problem , instrument cluster problem .

G200 is a shared ground location for instrument cluster an washer pump , courtesy light's , audio/navigation control head , washer fluid level switch ,pin # 4 the DLC . Ground problem would cause some of these other systems not to work correctly .
