Have someone push & release pedal while at wheel with problem. See if it takes a while or slow to release. If yes, have wrench ready on bleeder screw, and try again, if it sticks/holds, crack bleeder screw, if it releases, I'd replace hose.

What would cause there to be no brakes what so ever even after replacing all the broken brake lines and bleeding them all on a 2003 Hyundai elantra?

if this has anti-lock brakes it may be the HCU(hydraulic control unit) may have air in it. it may have to be activated to get all the air out.

Need to bleed brakes on my 2002 Saturn SL 2. Would like diagrams or much more detailed instructions than Haynes manual is giving me.

START WITH DRIVER SIDE THEN PASSENGER SIDE REAR THEN PASSENGER SIDE FRONT THEN DRIVER REAR. USE A CLEAR HOSE OVER THE BLEEDER VALVUE SO YOU CAN SEE THE FLUID PUT OTHER END IN THE BOTTLE OF BRAKE FLUID
1. HAVE SOME ONE HOLD BRAKE TO FLOOR
2. OPEN THE BLEADER VALVE ENOUGH TO ALLOW FLUID TO FLOW
3. SEE IF YOU SEE AIR BUBBLES IN THE HOSE
IF NO AIR BUBBLES CLOSE BLEEDER VALVE
REPEAT FOR EACH WHEEL

How do i take off the brake drums on a 2003 chevy cavalier

After you remove the tire, the drim should slide off. If it doesn't then try using a rubber mallet and gently tap on the outside edge as you pull on it. Sometimes you also need to tap on the drum in the center part. I have sprayed penetrating lubes like WD-40 or PB Blaster into the seam at the center. You may also have to back off the parking brake cable or even use the adjuster to back off the shoes.

Bleed the brake lines

start at the passenger rear tire, have someone PUMP up brakes and hold pressure on them, release pressure by locating small bleeder screw, loosen screw 1/4 turn, brake fluid/air should come out, after brake petal reaches floor tighten bleeder, repeat process until only brake fluid comes out. go to driver side rear repeat, go to pass. side front repeat, go to driver side front repeat, after each bleeding make sure you check brake fluid in reservoir.

What is the proper way to bleed my rear brakes?

There are to ways to blled your rear brakes first way is a gravity bleed take the top off the master cylinder fill it with brake fluid then open both bleeder screws on the rear once you get a flow of brake fluid coming out you can close them fill up the master and dont forget to pump your brakes before you start the car or you can have someone sit in the car and do the pump down method. Have that person pump the brakes until the pedal is hard tell them to push down on it you open the bleeder screw and the pedal will go to the floor and fluid will come out of the bleeder screw advise that person to not let the pedal go until you close the line once you close the line do it again til you get a straight flow of fluid coming out then repeat the same thing on the other side, Always start on the rear passenger side then the rear drivers side and keep an eye on the master cylinder you dont want to run it dry and when pump bleeding it the top should be on the master. Good luck

Power steering and brake line location2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

the power steering lines are very short hoses approximately 8 inches long that go from the power steering pump down to the steering box, which is located on the frame, just below the pump. The brake lines run from the master cylinder(where you fill it with fluid on the drivers side firewall) down to the frame, and then follow the frame both directions; both to the front end and the rear end, along the drivers side frame rail, just on the inside of it. The fuel line runs along the same path to the rear.
