SOURCE: Doesn't start- Thought starter was bad replaced

The ignition switch attached to the column is probally bad, check the small wire to the sloenoid for battery when the key is turned to the start postion, if no battery, your not getting power from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid.

Where is my starter located on my 2003 Toyota Camry xLE 6 cylinder...When you turn the key it was just a lot of clicking..

That behavior is typical of a dying battery. It has enough grunt to pull down the starter solenoid, but not enough to turn the engine. Such batteries cannot hold a good charge, so are always nearly flat.

My 2004 Toyota Matrix will not start, when I turn onver the ignisiton key, nothing happens. The light turns on, radio plays, horn ok and battery voltage is 12,6 volts DC

Do you hear a slight click coming from the engine area??? If not your starter selenoid is bad, and needs replacement. If you do hear a click but the engine is having trouble or slow very slow time turning, then it's your battery. If you hear your starter click, but no turn, then its your starter not turning over. If your instrument lights dim out by alot when trying to turn, then it still your battery which is drain. The battery doesn't completly need to be drain in order for your horn, lights to not work, It could be your battery simply drain and doesn't have enough cranking power to roll over the starter. But in this case issue description, It sounds like it is the starter. Could take it out and bring it to autozone and have them test it out.

Sounds like a dead battery, Are you using the key or the remote? If you have a remote, is it not working either?

Toyota matrix

remove starter and manually start it using your battery leads with wire if it work then your starter and battery is ok / if not then your engine must have been stuck-up consult a mechanic for full diagnosis..

2003 BMW 325i - Car won't start. It will crank the (rrr rrr rrr)

Get a DTC scanner and see what it says...in the meantime, check that fuel pump relay and fuel pump. The humming sound is probably the heater blower motor or part of the HVAC system winding down after disconnecting from power.

My car won't start it was ok yesterday i have 2005 toyota matrix 61000 miles Occasionally i turn the key and the thing just flashes instrument lights and makes a clicking sound.

Try having the starter checked - it might be going bad (or failed completely). If it's bad, it'll need to be replaced.

If you're getting instrument lights, radio, etc. but nothing that sounds like the engine trying to turn over, then it's probably not the battery, but it couldn't hurt to check that too.
