Re: 2007 aspen with 5 codes. Engine malfunction light on,...
Putting wrong fuse in wrong slot won't cause that , loosing power to computer will ,did you try running motor and drive it to see if that will clear codes

get an OFFICIAL diagnosis from someone with a much more sophisticated reader. It doesn't have to be the dealer... just a good mech that specializes in GM
In both cases, there is a software update available for this condition. It involves
having the dealer connector their StarScan tool to your truck and
reprogramming the PCM.
DTC P0406 - EGR Sensor "A" circuit "High" There is updated software available for your PCM that will correct this
code if your vehicle was built prior to mid February 07. If it was built
after that, then the EGR valve will need replacing (this is not unusual). Keep in mind that could be time for a new valve, but you dont will need to change the tube, but new gaskets are a good idea.
DTC P0524 - Oil Pressure Too Low Oil pressure sending unit (sensor) voltage input above the maximum acceptaple voltage.
If the software is up to date, then have the oil pressure sensing unit must be replaced.

This code does not match any codes for that year, this is not a code, something is wrong if the scan tool is giving you a 5307, the code should be something like a poxxxx or pxxxx or it can be a U code, uxxxx or a bxxxx code, the almost sounds like a bad speed sensor as the ****** doesnt shift and the abs and brake light is on, i would start by having the speed sensor checked out. good day.
The check engine light may be on from low volts from your battery... Try disconnecting your NEG battery cable for a few (about 5) minutes to reset the computer and see what that leads to...If your check engine light comes back on take it and have it scanned to see what codes it is throwing..
When a 'check engine light' (MIL=Malfunction Indicator Lamp) is turned on, there is a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) set/stored in the ECM/PCM (Engine Control Module/Powertrain Control Module). This code identifies which engine management system component/function experienced a malfunction. Once you pull/read this code, you may begin diagnosis.
codem p 0203 refers to injector 3---circuit malfunction===causes wiring--injector--ECM

When cleaning your engine, water/degreaser went down the spark plug ports. Try using a air compressor blow gun to remove the moisture from around the spark plugs and boots. The water was causing the engine to misfire on 3 cylinders at first and as the ports started to evaporate the moisture, the less misfiring was occuring. Dry thouroughly and hopefully coils do not have damage to them. Also check to make sure the boot is making good contact with the spark plug.
