SOURCE: vehicle hakes when driving 45 to 50 miles per hour

Check wheel balance,
check steering linkages for loosness - such as tie rod ends, steering rack linkages etc,
check driveline for worn/loose joints and bearings.

SOURCE: my 1997 expedition, shakes really

Take a close look at the tires, look for bulges and lumps. You may have a slipped belt. Where the rubber delaminates from the reinforcment belt embedded in the tire. If this is the case, you must replace the tire. Also look for missing balance weights. Around the rim you should be able to tell if a weight fell off.
Another very serious possibility is a failed shock absorber. A very rough test is to manually push / bounce one corner of truck down a few times then let go and see if it keeps bouncing more than one time, one and half max. Check all 4 corners.
Otherwise, possible bent rim, missing lug nuts, bad wheel bearing.
Good luck

How to turn off traction control on 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Alexandre, check in your owners manual for small off button on the shifter under the large engage button. If you do not want traction control on in your vehicle check your manual for traction control fuse location and remove fuse. I can not say this is a wise thing to do, because your traction control is a safety feature for your vehicle. ABS braking system will be lost if you pull the fuse also. Pulling the fuse will disable abs, traction and stability control. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

What does it mean when my 2008 trailblazer LT stabilitrac service light comes on?

Service Stability System Message The message center displays the service stability system message when any one of many VSES-disabling DTCs is set. The EBCM sends a serial data message to the IPC requesting this display.
It means there is a problem an till you get it fixed the stability control system is disabled ! ( EBCM ) electronic brake control module Has detected a problem an set a DTC - diagnostic trouble code in it's memory an had the message displayed !
Vehicle Stability Enhancement System (VSES)
The vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) provides added stability during aggressive maneuvers. Yaw rate is the rate of rotation about the vehicle's vertical axis. The VSES is activated when the electronic brake control module (EBCM) determines that the desired yaw rate does not match the actual yaw rate as measured by the yaw rate sensor.
The desired yaw rate is calculated by the EBCM using, primarily, the following inputs.
?€¢
The position of the steering wheel

?€¢
The speed of the vehicle

?€¢
The lateral, or sideways acceleration of the vehicle

The difference between the desired yaw rate and the actual yaw rate is the yaw rate error, which is a measurement of oversteer or understeer. When a yaw rate error is detected, the EBCM attempts to correct the vehicle's yaw motion by applying brake pressure to one or more of the wheels. The amount of brake pressure which is applied varies, depending on the correction required. The engine torque may be reduced also, if it is necessary to slow the vehicle while maintaining stability.
VSES activations generally occur in turns during aggressive driving. When braking during VSES activation, the pedal may pulsate. The brake pedal pulsates at a higher frequency during VSES activation than during ABS activation.

How much money in gas will i spend in a 224 mile trip, at $2.29 a gallon?

Depends on miles per gallon of vehicle. Average mpg of say 15 mpg would take 15 gallons to travel 225 miles.(15x15=225). At $2.29 per gallon @15 gallons=$34.35. So figure out mpg of your vehicle and do the math.

How do I get the service stability track to stop appearing on the dash of my 2012 chevrollet impala?

The same as with ALL Vehicle issues

Check for codes & diagnose the system with
the problem & make the required repairs

I fail to see why everyone just wants dash lights to go away

No one wants to education themselves on why the lights are
lite on the dash,no concerns about doing possible damage
to the vehicle if it is continued to be used,no safety concerns!

These vehicle systems & their dash lights have been with us
for over 30 years Really! This is not anything new.

When you ask what to do,it indicates you only drive a vehicle,
ignore any dash lights, don't have a shop you go to or ask questions,
don't care or want to spend a dime

2007 suburban dash is saying stability system disabled what does this mean ?

{: ) Check for excessive wear on any of the tires on the vehicle and then verify that all the tires are the same size, brand, and same model. It is also important to check and make sure the tire pressure is properly adjusted per the sticker on the door. The following examples listed below could cause this condition:
1. 2 tires on the vehicle are Goodyear P245/75R16 and the other 2 tires are Firestone P245/75R16
2. 2 Tires on the vehicle are brand new and the other two tires have excessive wear.
3. 2 Tires on the vehicle are Goodyear Wrangler SRA 265/70R17 and 2 tires are Goodyear Wrangler HP 265/70R17 (Same brand/different models)
4. Aftermarket Wheels and Tires (NON-OEM 20 inch wheels and tires)
5. Tire pressure is not properly adjusted.

The stability system disabled light came on in my 2004 chevy tahoe, what is that for?

Your vehicle is equipped with vehicle stability control, what the system does is prevent the car from going out of control due to a skid, it does this by applying the brakes at each wheel very quickly to straighten the car out in the event of a skid like on ice or a wet road, the system is part of the ABS (Anti-lock brake system), when the light comes on and stays on it means that something has failed in the system and the computer that controls it has disabled the system

The yellow triangle with an exclamation point is lit up - what does this mean?

The Vehicle Stability Assist system is turned off. Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) is an electronic stability control system that works in conjunction with the Pilot's drive-by-wire throttle and its 4-channel ABS systems to enhance controllability while the vehicle is accelerating, braking, cornering or when the driver makes a sudden maneuver. VSA functions by applying brake force to one or more wheels independently while also managing the throttle, ignition and fuel systems to help the vehicle maintain the driver's intended path of travel.

You need to find the VSA button on the dash and push it, this will activat the VSA and turn off the yellow light.
