Hi. I have a feeling your issue is either a heat deficiency or leaking heater core. Do you have a strange smell in the air or taste in your mouth? Is the floor or front carpet wet but shouldn't be? If you answered Yes to any of the above you make have a leaking heater hose or heater core. If not, you will need to perform diagnostics on the HVAC system and determine if there is a reduction of heat into the heater core or a restriction inside the ducting. It could be that the vehicle is fine and it is a "Perfect Storm" situation. If the outside temperature is less than 20deg.s, the vehicle is wet inside and/or there are some heavy breathing passengers. It could be that the heat inside your vehicle is similar to a steam room or sauna. You may need to open the windows briefly (multiple times) to remove the wet air. Please let me know if this helps or if you need anything else. Good Luck.
Adjust the air to be luke warm

Their is a vacuum actuated valve that redirects the flow of air from the panel to the defrost vents when the defrost is selected. I would check the vacuum line running to the valve while the vehicle is running with the defroster on and check whether or not the line is pulling a vacuum to actuate the valve, if not you obviously have a bad line or vacuum line fitting. If you have suction on the vacuum you will need to check the valve and see that is functioning properly. The valve is usually located under the dash on the passengers side. If you are mechanically inclined i would go to a local auto part store and pick up a repair manual for your car for about $20 as they contain diagrams and info that will save you alot of money.

This can be caused by a heater core that is leaking inside the car, one way to determine if that's the problem, is if you can smell antifreeze. It is a 'sweet' smell, and is quite noticeable. If u don't notice this, I have to say this is a common problem w/ Hondas. I've had a civic, 2 accords (currently have a 92), and 2 Preludes, they are great cars, but they all suffer from fogged up windows in cold weather. One reason is that they are quite air tight, and the older models don't have the greatest defroster system (weak). Try and keep a window cracked open slightly, see if that helps.
SOURCE: heater core leak?
probable heater core leak especially if core has external moisture.core must be replaced
SOURCE: Windows fog up on the inside when defroster is turned on
leaking heater core. The coolant level may be low also. What it is doing is fogging up the window with the steam coming from the hot engine coolant that runs through your dash board when the heater or defrost is on. This should be under some kind of warranty on an '08.

During weather with lots of moisture try reducing the temperature inside the car lower than outside temp.
(example - if outside temp is 25 then set car temp around 21-22)
this MAY help as I dont know the weather conditions at your place... ;-)
