It could possibly be a shock or strut bracket.

i CAREFULLY REMOVED THE PANEL, THE SPEAKER, TAKING PHOTOS ALONG THE WAY (INCLUDING PHOTOS INSIDE THE DOOR WHERE I COULD NOT SEE), AND EVENTUALLY REMOVED THE TRACK WITH THE MOTOR AND CABLE. i FOUND THE PLASTIC MOUNT FOR THE UPPER CABLE BROKEN. AFTER MUCH STUDYING I FOUND THE CABLE SNAGGED ON THE REEL. I CLEARED THE SNAG AND LUBED THE REEL. I DRILLED A HOLE TO ACCEPT THE CABLE END AT ABOUT THE RIGHT DISTANCE , INSERTED A SCREW AND EPOXIED THE SCREW AND END IN POSITION, I HUNG THE ASSEMBLY ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR , PLUGGED THE SWITCH IN AND TURNED THE CAR ON -- THE TRACK WORKED PERFECT. I REPLACED ALL COMPONENTS, ATTACHED THE WINDOW, REPLACED THE PLASTIC REATTACHED THE LINKAGES TO THE LOCK AND DOOR OPENER. WORKS GREAT. SAVED SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR THE COST OF A COUPLE OF HOURS AND A SCREW AND JB WELD EPOXY.MEMBRANE, REINSTALLEED THE SPEAKER,

You have to crawl in the back remove the panels and find the actuator(s), when you find them check for any linkages the may have fallen off. Gm uses little clips that get brittle and break. if it is a clip reinstall rod with a new clip or reinstal rod and secure with mechanics wire.
If the actuator is broken you can hook up a volt meter to the pin outs and test for power by hitting the door lock unlock button. If there's power then chamces are that the actuator is faulty. if theres no power check ground connections fuses relays and re test. good luck
SOURCE: passenger side--manual sliding door will not open
i have not yet corrected the concern but have found the source. in this particular model the fuel door has a safety lock feature that keeps the door from opening when you are fill the fuel. I have found the lever broken on the switch now all i have to do is figure out how to replace it
U will have to take the inside door cover off and manualy open it. And replace the electric door locking switch. Very common problem. Get the new lock and latch assembly from dealer,
