Power locks are not working, all fuses and relays seem to be ok. they don't work with the power lock button in the door or the key fob. it is and 2005 grand Caravan

turns fail. 2003.?
so did not check all fuses first then scan the OBD2 port next

well fuses are blown why skip step on, electrics, all fuses checked,
"changed flasher"<<, why say that. then not say turns and hazards fail too or not????? i have a real oem shop manual for this car. USA spec car is it>?

chapter 8w wiring, is clear and easy to read.

8w-60 and 61 locks and windows. schematics and all
not the fuse for windows it runs both sides. F12 , 50amps.

F12 also runs door locks but is not bad. only for 1 door.

you have a fob
and lots of door controls switches, it is clear which fail and do not
front and rear, both.

the door control modules on this car use COMM buse
called PCI serial bus this car
so commands from any in car button or fob must work and send commands to t the door commanded, via PCI bus.
same goes for windows ,door control modules

or the origination command device fails, the FOB or the door buttons afail
all doors have controls do only right side fail and fob too?

try testing at all doors first
and the fob too.
off hand seems PCI bus wires damaged on the right side.

Take a close look at the wiring and connections at the drivers door switch.

bought it like this.
so fob buttons work, but not hatch.
but lock inside locks fail (elect. buttons)
driver and shotguns side both fail, lock sw?
ext, mirrors dead.
door looks in the service manual has 5 pages of schematics, is well advised to read that first
not scanning the PCM/BCM first is never good.
oK if the speed sensor on the car fails, doors will act up. (for sure if it see car moving and is not)
the radio receiver (fob) works mostly
Fuse MIR /LKS must not be blown door buttons fail
why not check all fuses, save work and not need books to fix it if a fuse blew.?(underhood box)

this kill local door power to LF and RF door swithes dead. and Rear glass to. the relay board does not fail with fobs. is the key fact.
your post is not clear on all for doors.
or LF an RF door switches. but assumed both are dead, me.
so it is just blown fuse.
we always check fuse first. a 20 cent part.

notify manufacturer about your after market ''valet remote starter'' system like with any remote start system they are tapped into your locking system and can cause havoc or disable it so you can ask them about your problem

redux, now that the facts are stated.

the fob is dead, ok,, but more important
both door controls are dead., but does the rear hatch lock work and lift glass?
next is fuses, its always first, for any electric failure of any kind, means almost everything, no?

1: so both switches are dead.
2: and the door lock solenoids are silent.
3: that means the BCM is not working.

the body computer listens to both lock switches
left and right and they are not related.
in fact the switches are just 2 pins,
one ground and one MUX.

that means the BCM has issues.
next is scan it.

BCM is a computer, and its not responding
to valid door commands.
scan it. page 8L 171 in the FSM tells you just that.

ps: the mirrors do not use the BCM or power from locks. so has zero to do with locks.

the FOB receiver in the body (RKE) to make the fob work is called the SKREEM.
the skreem then sends cammands to BCM via the PCI buss. so id bet SKREEM is ok but the BCM has issues.

The BCM is now ignoring 3 major inputs
SKreem
door left mux switch
door right mux swtich.

scan it , id bet there DTC error from BCM
i bet.......

Replace the battery on the key fob! Also, it may need to be reprogrammed by the Dealer!

put key in ignition turn key to number 2 lights on dash battery etc. then press the fob. till the doors lock then it is rest.

look in the fuse box which is under the dash or in the engine compartment drivers side for the voltage relay fuse possibly square that powers the door motors and door locks . corrosion around relay or just bad relay replace and try power key lock release again and see if that works or first go into each door at a time and probe wire that leads to each door lock actuator motor and if you are getting proper current with helper pressing key to activate motor and proper current is displayed start replacing motors if intermittent wrong current or no current at each door checking with home meeter probing motor wire while helper is pressing key fob relay is bad and needs to be replaced. That is all i got good luck ps if all fails from that point replace key fob controler

You are going to need to check the power lock control moduel on the inside of the door panel. If the FOB appears to be working but the doors are not unlocking, you need to check this. I would also replace all fuses that control the locks. If both of these devices check out ok, you may need to replace your FOB. To check your power lock control moduel, manually lock and unlock your doors by pressing the lock button on the inside of the door. If it does not work, it is either the fuses or the power lock control moduel. If it works, your FOB has gone bad. Hope this helps! Please rate 4 thumbs up!
