SOURCE: LED Indicator Problems & Flasher Relay?

Modern Ducatis (and cars) don't have a conventional flasher. The blink rate is controlled by the dash cpu. The blink rate change is used to indicate that a bulb is out (by sensing low resistance). Using a resistor will fool the cpu into blinking correctly.

SOURCE: indicators flash too fast

hi,this may help, the standard relay will not work properly with led units as they are very low current devices,a standard relay runs at about 5amps current draw on standard 21w bulbs, however leds only draw about 0.25w,so on a standard relay the leds will flash at a million miles an hour, any good auto sparky will have a transistorized relay that willswap out for the original, these relays are not current dependant and will flash at the correct rate regardless of the current draw on them and it will solve the problem you are having...cheers

2005 Dodge Durango SLT. Trying to locate turn signal flasher to fix hyper flash after upgrading to LED turn signals.

LED replacement bulbs are nothing but trouble on a vehicle that didn't have them as OEM equipment. In most 'modern' cars, the flashers are controlled by a signal from the Body Control Module or Combined Power Modules via a relay. You need an auto electrician or if the Parts Store sold you the LED bulbs and flasher relay, go back and ask them to sell you the right items to make it flash correctly.

Hi y’all. I have replaced my 2008 Ford Edge Lmtd rear flasher lamps with LED and I bought the LED Flasher module to stop the flashers to click fast. Anyone here know where the flasher module is located...

i think it has not got one. the flashers are controlled by the body control module you may have to introduce a dummy load into the circuit. ie like a resistor across the led lamps cos the module thinks the bulbs have failed ! not enough load on the circuit the led does not take the same current/amps has the origional bulbs so use ohms law to calculate the resistance value to use

Replacing the turn signal flasher relay. I have installed LED bulbs and get the extremely fast turn signal flashes. I have a relay but can not find where to install it

If its flashing really fast and all lights on the circut are working you may need a heavy duty flasher as to location, depends on vehicle but they are usually close to the under dash fuse panel

Turn signals flash too fast after changing to LED

Instead of that, see if you can get an electronic flasher unit for your vehicle that does not depend on the turn signal light load (amps) to control flashing speed. This is much simpler than splicing things into wires.

2005 Dodge Magnum RT. Left turn signal in rear, flashes fast rear bulb replaced but blinker still blinks fast occassionally and rear turn signal light socket has no voltage when this happens. Where is the...

When its blinking fast look at both front and rear to verify which bulb isnt flashing. If the right works OK, then the flasher is OK. The flasher is INSIDE the front control module/integrated power module. If you cant find the problem, you may need a dealer to check it.

2005 f150 a/c blower motor mot working? a/c still works if i put it on outside air and go 60mph you can feel cold air, the compressor still engages and works fine but no fan? maybe the resistor?

If it is the Blower Motor resistor, usually high speed still works.

Check the blower motor relay ( next to the flasher by the steering column up under the dash ) and fuse #116. This is the relay that powers the blower motor from the HVAC control panel.

Driver side rear blinker/stop light does not work, also 3rd light stop light isn't working either

may be a bad electronic flasher unit if you lost both. if the blinkers flash very fast, that is a bulb out warning, but sometimes the flasher controls both circuits, and it is a relay.
