Hi,

sounds like you changed your fuel pump.
try hooking everything back up and spray some starting fluid in the intake while turning it over. for some reason ford engines have to be fooled back into starting back up. I did a mountaineer and had no power after a fuel pump change, tried starting fluid and voila.

check for power at your relay, common for them to have the relay feed wire on the underside of the fuse box to burn off, re run a new heavier wire from the underside of the fuse box relay to switched/fused power side of fuse box

What is a primary fuel pump circuit for a Ford f150 5.0

Is there 4 wires at the connection. Org,pnk-blk,yel-wht and blk. Looks like the org and blk are grounded. I would trace the org and blk to check. See if there is a ground wire by the left tail light. You can add a ground wire if needed to help as a 12 volt system always have grounding issues. This is all I can find there is a lack of diagrams as you have most likely found out and most information refers to twin pumps.

How do you turn the fuel pump shut off button back on a 99 Ford windstar

  • The inertia fuel shutoff switch is located behind the driver side scuff panel. An access hole is in the scuff panel to access and reset the fuel shutoff switch.
NOTE: In the reset position, the button can be pressed an additional 1.59 mm (0.0625 inch) against a spring. This is a normal condition.
To reset the inertia fuel shutoff switch , press button on top of inertia fuel shutoff switch .

I am not getting fire to the fuel pump on the frame of an 88 ford

the black wire is ground, the pink/blk goes to fuel pump and sending unit.
if you follow the pink/blk wire it will go to the inertia switch, the other wire coming out of inertia switch is orange/lt blue, that wire goes to fuel relay, that's located on right (middle) fender
