Check under the hood and see if you have a decal that says fan may turn on after car is turned off. The fan can run for 10-15min after shut-off.
If it's on for only that length of time and it's killing your battery, you may need a new battery.
If it's not turning off at all, open fuse compartment under the hood, take a small rubber mallet and start to tap the relays. There should be one there for the cooling fan. Once you find it, (the fan will turn off when it's tapped) you can exchange the relay for another (of the same part number - like the wiper relay or A/C relay or something) restart car, let it run til hot, and turn off. If fan shuts off within 10-15 minutes, you need a new relay.

I have a 2004 2.7 6 chrysler sebring lxi. ac blows really cold and periodically just starts blowing warm air. is there a relay or temp. sensor that might be going out and through a malfunction shuts down...

Cooling fans working? If you notice the air getting warm mostly while stopped, probaby cooling fans not turning on. if the fans are working properly, may be low on freon and need a recharge.

I have a chyrsler sebring 2001 3.0 coupe v6 and i have encountered several problems. first my car overheats when ac is on but the fans are working properly. it generally starts to overheat when at a stand...

Overheat is likely from a partially obstructed radiator (external or internal)
Flicker in lights may be caused by a loose connection at the alternator...check that plugs are clean and secure and that "bolt on" wires aren't loose (careful there if battery is connected) It is also possible that alternator may have an internal loose connection if whoever built it was not careful.

Where is the starter located on the 2004 chrysler

look around the bottom of the motor at the rear of the block on both sides. it should have a thick battery cable attached to it and a couple of smaller wires attached to it, one on the solenoid and one one the same terminal as the thick battery cable
hope this helps you
