SOURCE: SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION ON 2006 DODGE CHARGER 2.7L

In my experience with the 2.7L engine, the spark plugs are located on the top of the engine below the individual ignition coils. The coils are placed between the intake manifold and the valve covers, 3 per side. The coils are held in with "torx" screws. Simply remove the screws, and disconnect the connectors to remove the coils. The spark plugs will be underneath. Be sure to properly gap the spark plugs for maximum life and emissions compliance. Also, an improperly gapped plug can shorten the life of the coil packs.
Hope this helps!

Where is theTransmission Speed Sensor location on 1995 escort lx wagon?

Some of the trannys do not have the fill plug feature. On these trannys, you have to fill through the Vehicle Speed Sensor location (VSS). This is not fun. The VSS is located on the firewall side of the tranny, about in the middle of the tranny, down low. You can barely see it and reach it from the top of the engine compartment on the driver\'s side. You have to disconnect the VSS wire connector. Then, remove the VSS retaining bolt - this is a 10mm hex-head bolt in the tranny near the base of the VSS. The VSS must finally be pried carefully out of the case. Tranny fluid is filled through the VSS hole until full. Re-install the VSS and hook up the connector when complete. Have a box of Band-Aids ready.

If you have to change the fluid because you pulled the tranny, do yourself the favor of removing the speed sensor when the tranny is OUT of the vehicle. Then you can change the O-ring as well. Much easier not to damage the VSS which is a $60+ part to replace.

Speed sensor

there are many on some cars 5 or more.
what engine,? what transmission?
1: crank shaft rpm CKP sensor.
2: VSS 1 tranny front sensor Automatics.
3: vss 2 tranny rear. """
4:speedo back up VSS to vss 1.
5: cam speed, or Angle.

why not say the symptoms and why VSS is on your mind.
did you use a scan tool, if not why not?
the scan tool will tell you which sensors readings are wrong
and just because one is, dont mean the sensor is bad.
the PCM /ECU never knows what is bad, ONLY what tests
failed (called monitors) and its the job of the technician
to do the FSM tests. and find TRUE CAUSE.

SCAN it and stop guessing, or go broke.

How many litres of transmission fluid does a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T (5.7L V8) contain to be considered the proper amount of transmission fluid? Ex. The 2006 Dodge Charger R/T should take 6.7 litres of oil...

I don't know the exact liters, but if you are just changing the filter it would be 5 qts, maybe 5 liters. And if you are in a total rebuild, it would be 15 qts, or say 15 liters, We don't work with liters over here. I know your 5.7 liter engine is about 340 cubic inches. A quart is real close to a liter, 3.8 liters = 4 qts. If your tranny doesn't have a dipstick, it has 2 plugs on the right side of the tranny, one for level, one for fill, If you pull the level and nothing seeps out, fill it up, till it seeps out the bottom, then put the plugs back in. The tranny will drip for a month if you let it, so when you change the filter, you never really know how much dripped out, exactly, you could measure what came out, but what if it was low to start? Check it out, hope this helps.
