SOURCE: 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix Thermostat

as you face the engine the thermostat bell is on the right (drivers side) Follow the radiatoe hose. Remove the two bolts and raise the bell still attatched to the hose. the thermostat is there with the rubber seal. You can gently pry the thermostat out with a screwdriver or something similar. Put in new thermostat be sure it is the same as the old one, and then replace or change the seal (be sure it is the smae size and thickness as the old one as I got the wrong size from Napa) Then replace the bell, and tighten, but not over tighten. I hope this helps!

1999 pontiac grand am blikers dont work all the time

This is a problem with the hazard switch. It is the hazard and turn signal switch flasher module. These are high priced. I would try a junk/salvage yard first. They cost about $80.00 around here for new.

1999 pontiac grand am - loud buzzing sound when I turn on the turn signal. Turn signal lights are lit (on) but steady, they do not flash. If its the turn signal switch - where is it located?

ON THIS YEAR 2 THINGS ARE USUALLY THE PROBLEM. THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH OR THE HAZARD SWITCH. IT DOESNT HAVE A FLASHER. THE FLASHER IS INTEGRATED IN THE HAZARD SWITCH. ITS ABOUT 20 BUCKS FROM THE DEALER. THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH HAS TO BE REPLACED AS AN ASSEMBLY. THE COLUMN COVERS HAVE TO COME OFF AND THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED

Where is my turn signal switch or the flasher on

The turn signal switch is in the column, at the end of the turn signal lever. The flasher is integrated with the Hazard switch. The hazard/turn signal flasher is common to go bad.

Having problems with repeated clicking in dash when turn signals are not on. I believe it is a multifunction switch but don't know how to repair and what tools I need. It is a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT. ...

The most common for this is that the hazzard flasher switch is the problem. The hazzard flasher / switch is also the turn signal flasher. There is no wire to cut to stop the clicking. The switch needs to be replaced. Lightly pushing in on the switch button will cause the lights to act irratically if it is the problem. The only other thing that causes this is the turn signal switch in the steering column. Tech jk
