Is it getting spark? And gas?
Check fuel pressure and spark
Yes spark plus fuel .... check for broken timing belt
Does the engine spin slower or erratically ?
Take out the timing belt cover and cheek the mark on the camshaft if Elaine with the mark on the crankshaft, probable one or tow teethe off,all the best.

have you check the ground wire from your negative wire to battery post? check to see the battery is strong. if it doesn't turn over the engine or crank the engine mean no good ground to the cables. if the car ran fine I dont understand why the car wont crank or turn the motor over it just quit. if the battery check out strong 12 V, starter serenoid may be faulty on your starter or it may be hot and will not turn starter over.

there are a few different things it could be first thing to check would be if the timing belt is broken this is done by removing the oil fill cap and having someone else crank the engine and at the same time some one else is looking in the oil fill hole to see if the valve train is moving. if its not the belt is broken. another common problem is the fuel system main relay. or an ignitor or coil
