SOURCE: where to put in transmission fluid on my 2000 Honda Odyssey

You have a choice! You can use a small funnel and a narrow tube and try to fill through the dipstick tube hole or you can locate the actual fill plug and remove it to gain access to the fill hole. The plug looks like the top of a large bolt and is located on the top of the transmission aft of where the dipstick tube goes in. You will need a long funnel with a narrow opening or a tube to deliver the fluid into the hole.

SOURCE: P0740 code showing in my 2000 Honda Odyssey

P0740 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfunction
The problem could be the torque converter itself or the sensor circuit for the clutch.
Best to have a Transmission Expert look at it to see if any further damage has occurred.

SOURCE: emergency brake adjustment 2000 Honda Odyssey

on the back side of the wheel, there is a thin metal plate. on this plate, there is a rubber plug in a fairly small hole. remove the plug, and just inside, there should be the teeth of an adjuster start wheel visible. turn the star wheel until the drum is tight on the shoes. then, turn the start wheel back, approximately 10 teeth. test and repeat as necessary.

SOURCE: 2000 Honda Odyssey Fuel Vapour Canister location

It is located at the top of the gas tank. You are going to have to drop the tank in order to check it, so it is best to do this when there is not a lot of gas in the tank. Hope this helps you out.

I need a fender and bumper cover for a 2002 Chevy Cavalier, will it interchange with a 1997?

Check with websites that sell used car parts like car-part.com. Enter into the search what year model vehicle and part you are looking for and the results will give you parts that are interchangeable. I did a quick check, but you may want to double check after me, it appears your generation model has interchangeable parts between year models 2000-2004. So, in short, it doesn't appear a 1997 panel will fit.

2001 Honda Odyssey Transmission Problem

The Odyssey has notorious bad transmissions from 2000-2003. You will not get anything on a trade, the trans can be fixed for about $2k. If everything else on the van still works and you like it, figure you bought it again for $2k. I changen my wife's Odyssey trans at 175K miles for $2k and she is happy so therefore I am happy too :-)
