Once you've purchased a replacement mirror glass based on your specific make, model and year simply follow the steps below:

  • Remove all existing glass from the mirror head's plastic inner platform (backing plate).
  • Clean backing plate with rubbing alcohol. Clean back of replacement mirror with Burco Window Glo® or other glass cleaner.
  • Apply the Burco Redi Stick® adhesive patches and or silicone/urethane to the replacement mirror's back or to the backing plate itself.
  • Align and press replacement mirror to the backing plate.
  • Clean the installed Burco Redi Cuts® mirror with Burco Window Glo® or other urethane-safe glass cleaner.

I could also use the 98 Sienna Driver side view mirror replacement instructions. Thanks in advance. Bob at [email protected]

Behind the mirror on the inside of the door there will be a triangular shape piece of plastic, gently pry the plastic from the door, now that it is removed you will see a multi electrical plug for the mirror if you have electric mirrors, seperate the plug.
look in the small holes in the door where the plastic cover was removed and you should see 2 or 3 bolt heads, remove those bolts and the mirror should now be free to remove from the vehicle.
Replace the new mirror in reverse order of removal.

Replacing RH Side view mirror on a 2006 Toyota Sienna

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
