Hello Kamran, Your vehicle output speed sensor is located on the transmission tail housing. You can find some images by searching "Google" - 2011 Chevy Cruze Output speed sensor location.
Hello Kamra, Many issue can cause a P0723 code.Common causes of fault code p0723 are a faulty output or input speed sensor, shorted or damaged connectors/wiring,faulty temperature sensor on engine, dirty transmission fluid, faulty shift solenoid. There are a number of things to take into consideration when faced with a speed sensor malfunction. The output speed sensor doubles as the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) in some vehicles, so you want to be sure whether you have one or both before attempting repairs. In addition, some vehicles are equipped with a TFT (transmission fluid temperature) sensor, and if this sensor experiences a fault, it can trip an OSS fault code. When faced with this many potential problem sources, it may be less expensive in the long run to have your vehicle diagnosed by a shop to isolate the problem.

Hi my name is Allen!
Both the Input and Output speed sensors or mounted on the side of the trans, they are not to far away from each other, you will see the electrical plug coming out of eack one of them. They are round, biege in color with a black end on it where the connector plugs into. If you don't know which one is bad you will need to replace them both.

You will find this sensor where the fat hos comes from the radiator and conects to the engine block. It would be on the housing where the thermostat is located. If it is not there you should look for a sensor that has a wire connected to it anywhere on the engine block where a water inlet is located. I hope this helps. Don't forget to rate my answer, thanks.

The input and output speed sensors look identical on the connector side. The one over the solenoid pack is the input, the one closer to the left frame rail or left front wheel is the output sensor. I hope this helps.

Its in different locations depending on if its 2wd or 4wd. For 2wd its in front of the drice shaft or for 4wd its in the tranfer case, just look for a white shape like box with wires plugged into it and you need a socket to remove it, iam not sure how much it is to replace as the cost varies at different shops.

Now i dont know a lot about automatics especially modern ones with all this fancy electronics thats used nowdays but i think its a fault with the temperature sensor for the gearbox. But where its located and what it looks like i have no idea it could even be mounted inside the gearbox .Sorry not a very good answer from a mechanic but?? very few of our europeon cars come with auto transmission .Evan when i do know whats wrong i cannot buy the parts for the gearbox as only re-con boxes supplied by the dealer so best advice is to try a specialist in auto box repairs only .PS some of my best students when i used to teach mechanics many moons ago were the girls so no excuses like iam only a girl please
