SOURCE: 1997 chev 1500 with 350 vortec milky oil in dipstick tube

Sorry to say its your head gaskets. Probably from the overheating it wore out the gaskets. that milky stuff is your coolant mixing with your oil. Good luck. Suggest you take it to a pro. the gaskets are easy to change, it's everything else in the way to get to them that requires special tools and experience. Let me know how it goes. I have the same thing with my truck but not real bad. If your truck is running smooth and doesn't feel like its missing, or when your start it no puff of white smoke comes out your exhaust it's not that big of problem. if these are happening then i would get a quote.

SOURCE: the turning signal sound is fast on passenger

It is a burned out bulb on the passenger side - turn on the left signal so you will know where to look for the bulb. Then turn on the right side and find the blown out bulb and replace it.

Where is the drain tube on a 1997 blazer S10

For the AC-it is located on the passenger side firewall, about 3/4 of the way down from the top of the engine-best to jack up the passenger side of the vehicle (use a jackstand) and get under the vehicle behind the front passenger side tire-it is right there, exiting the firewall under the heater core hoses.

I have a 1997 Chev S-10 with a V6 Vortex engine. My Heater motor is making a noise. Can it be lubricated or does it need to be replaced? Can you tell me where it is accessed and how hard it is to replace?...

Blower motors are normaly replaced rather than serviced. It is on the firewall on the passenger side. The bottom screws can be a bugger to get to but it all in all it isn't a real hard job. Warning about A/C is because there is A/C? lines and the evaporator is in the smae area as the fan. Here is a picture of the fan location

1994 chev s10 . the air condition vents in the mid dash does not work properly. the air is ok but comes out of the heat vent at bottom. after a while, it will start puting out some air in the mid vents but...

check underneath you hood, on the driver's side, there is a little ball lookin thing. there should be a long skinny hose that connects to it. if it is rotted out or has a leak, your vents will not change over because they are vacuum powered. the vents switch by using the vacuum coming from that long skinny hose. check the entire hose because it splits off into many other things and runs from the little ball thing under the hood on the drivers side and runs along the firewall toward the passenger side. mine is starting to rot and i need to change it as well. any kind of little vacuum leak from that hose will either make your vents move slowly or not at all. im not a gm technician, but i did replace the head on my 2.2l 94 s10 with a Chevy tech. he noticed that those particular hoses on my truck were dry rotted and told me what they were and what it did. like i said, the hose will start at the ball looking thing under the driver's side of the hood, run down behind the plastic piece thats on top of the brake booster and run along the firewall towards the passenger side. you can just get new hose from autozone or carquest and cut it to your lengths, as long as its the same size width wise (or thickness). good luck. its really not a big deal, and its a good place to start and see if it helps.
