SOURCE: My 2002 ford escape is losing power when going up

there can be many causes for lack of power many autoparts stores such as autozone can read codes stored in your vehicles memory which would help to narrow the possibilities. I expect it to have a P03xx code the xx being the cylinder that is misfiring which could possibly lead to a bad coil.

My Nissan serena c25 2008 is losing power and at times jerking. Am forced to park switch off then on to continue with the journey. kindly help

SOLUTION.
I Had Nissan Serena C24 of 2000 with similar Problem of Loosing power after Long drive in Highway or climbing hills or during Hot Days..
The Catch is The Transmission Fluid gets high temperature and the pulley bands or chain of CVT Transmission fails to shift hence Car stalls.
Solution is to use The large Transmission Cooler to assist the Cooling.
Me I bought two Mitsubish pajero Oil coolers, went to mechanics fixed them in transmission cooling system in front and Add about 1L of Transmission Fluid And the Problem ended.
All the best

My car is losing power on a slope, what can I do?

An increase in revs but no power increase when climbing a slope would indicate clutch slipping! Is this what you are experiencing?

Feels like its choking

So many faults can contribute to the problem, is the car couching and spluttering? could be dirt in the fuel or a dirty air filter, is your car auto or manual?

Jerks can be due to low transmission oil on an auto.

Look for the simple faults first.

Best of luck.
