I have a 2005 chevy avalanche 5.3L VIN code T When I spin my tires in the snow the engine continues revving a couple of seconds after letting off the gas.
You found the right place right time buddy.. i know a lot of websites for repairs and manuals that can really help u..
Testimonial: "Thanks Derrick. I have since found out what most of the codes were. The P08 type of codes were transmission codes. Shift solenoid as well as pressure solenoid. The P09 type was the transfer case motor. I solved that. Unfortunately my wheel bearing gave out on my way home after picking up that encoder motor. Have to wait now to solve the shift solenoid issue. Now I know why the previous owner got rid of this vehicle. It has just been a money pit so far. To anyone out there who encounters a guy named Jay who is selling a vehicle certified do not buy from him. You will regret it. I should have done something at the time when I first brought it home when I noticed the back brakes were metal on metal."

Charlie. You have replaced the ECM on your van?.
Kedwin,, Your problem is, the computer on that 3.3 L.
Need to be programed with the VIN nember of your car.
The Antitheft System will disable the injectors due a incorrect VIN, Bucause the body computer is not recieve the correct pasword between 5 seconds after start up.
YOU have 2 options. 1 get a ALOHA Smith. some of they have the computer required to program ECMs.
The other option is: Get a new ECM from the dealer, They will program if ask for that.
NOTE:::::: Other way is . Put the body control module with the computer from the same car.
OK... I hope this work for yours.
If NOT letme know I can look for more information.
Thank you.

If the tire does not lower with the jack parts from the access door then you will have to put the jack up under the presseurerelease in the middle of the tire till it releases.
SOURCE: 2005 Chevy Cobalt, how do you reset a fault code?
Your car has a OBD2 hook up under the dash somewhere on the drivers side, You have to have a computer to hook up to that ODB plug and reset it, If you live near a Autozone they will clear the code for you for free, One other thing you try is disconnecting your battery for about 30 mins, that works on alot cars to reset the check light.

Try checking the vent tube. if you look under the truck it will go from the gas tank filler tube to the top of the gas tank.

check the wiring from the tailights back to the fuse panel, it sounds like an open connection. if i recall correctly check under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse panel for a bunch of wires in a bundle and look carefully for a wire or two that are cut/shorted/or seperated, you can also check under the drivers side kick panel by the hood release.
