Its the Battery. These cars Batteries sit at the Factory for who knows how long before Installation. Have even seen Dealers with quick Chargers on the Semi-Truck Transports charging Batteries so they could Unload!

In the car trunk, there may be a electrical relay box behind the panel on the left side. It is usually no bigger than 4 inches by 4 inches and yellow in color. This is present in 1987-1991 Toyota Camrys and is generally not in most repair manuals. This yellow electrical relay box may have burnt out. Best place to pick one up at an inexpensive price is at the car wrecking or salvage yard. It is very expensive at the dealer. It is easy to replace with no special tools required. I have done this on my 1991 Camry,

It's time to service your transmission. Change your filters and fluid, make sure that they are the correct ones. Continue to drive your truck like this can burn out your transmission.

SOURCE: Car on limp mode- changed AC compressor-water pump-harmonica balancer- pulliies belt air cleaners-battery was flat all good now went good on test drive next day it went to limp mode after short drive
use a fault scanner to reset the CPU program If everything is good it should work . if not the fault codes will reappear and you will know what to fix.
