SOURCE: 2000 Silverado L/T Z71 4X4 Lubrication Diagram

Lube points should be: All moving joints in suspension. Ball joints, idler arm, tie rod ends etc. On 4X4's, all universal joints on drive axles (excluding C/V joints... just inspect boots) All slip-joints and "u" joints on driveshafts. Many of these items may not have zirk fittings on them from the factory. If the component has a plug installed, it should be removed & replaced with a fitting. If there is no place for a fitting, when the item wears out, the replacement will have a fitting.

SOURCE: How do you engage 4 wheel drive in a 1994

First, you need to put it in neutral when you are stopped, then put it in four-wheel-drive, then go to reverse and back-up until the light comes that says your in four wheel drive.

The door you are talking about has an actuator motor on the bottom of the blower box, look in the middle, under the dash, that will be the one, make sure it is plugged up,if not,it may need replacing.

Wiring problems

Yes, but if you don't have a really good diagram for both, you will need to identify each function by trial & error, then remove wires in harness and put them in the right places in the harness plug Use original plug from old seat on new seat.Don't change anything in body harness.
