How do you fix a ford pick up the dash lights are not working and i do not no it is a fuse and i also do not have the fuse description

if u checked the fuse for the dash illumination and it is ok make sure the dimmer wheel by the headlight switch is rotated to on, if it is then replace the dash light dimmer switch.

SOURCE: 2004 Ford Taurus, the dash lights do not work.

the headlight switch is very common in these for going bad they control the dimmer of the instrments

SOURCE: 97 Ford E250 Running lights and dash lights not working

best bet is get a WIRING DIAGRAM. you should have current (12 volts) on both sides of the fuse that works the tailights.if not there is probably a broken wire or a shorted wire leading up to the fuse. you kinda need the wiring diagram so u can see in which order the current "flows" which will help point u in the right direction.

if it is a fuse your fuse box will be located under hood and sometimes you may also have two fuse boxes , one under hood in a black box in plan view that says fuse and relays. remove the cover and look under the lid. you will find descriptions and placement labels under cap. find your fan and lighting fuse if blown replace with recommended fuse. same goes for other fuse box under dash or located on driver side or passenger side of dash in between door and dash. must open door to view fuse box.

I have an Australian delivered 2004 Ford Exployer. My Brake lights are not working, but my Tail gate brake light is funtioning.I have misplaced my owners manual and only get descriptions of the fuse panel...

Chances are its not a fuse. The brake lights get power thru the brake switch. But the third brake light does not pass thru the turn signal switch.
So if it works but the regular brake lights do not, the problem may be in the turn signal switch.

Driving lights and dash lights blowing 15 amp fuse

From your description this looks like overcharging. Check your charging system for overcharging and the wiring. A loose connection to the regulator can cause a surge in charge voltage and let out a very high voltage.

I checked all the fuses and they are all good but my tail lights and dash lights arent working its a 1999 f350 super duty pick up

check / replace head light switch. if all fuses r checked use owners manuel to make sure no underlining power supplie is missed

you can get a picture with description of each fuse from the owners manual, if you do not have one go to http://www.fleet.ford.com , go to the maintenance tab, then owners manuals select from there your van, hope this helps
