Hello, the answer to solve this problem is to take it to your nearest chrysler dealer and have them re-flash the updates to the ecu....since 2004, chrysler has had about 4-5 new updates since the date they were manufactured....you need to have the update that followed from your date of man. on your vehicle....They attempted to flash mine to the latest update and didnt work, turns out that they need the re-flash from back when...in order to get the gauage to stop fluctuating.....Hope this helps!!

carbon buildup in the throtle body is most likely the problem you need to remove the air cleaner and buy some card cleaner. there ia a butterfly valve in the throat of the assembly that will have a carbon ring built up around it use the carb cleaner and a tooth brush to remove it this happened to my pacifica I could not believe it was something so simple I went through lubricating all the cables before I found the real problem
Testimonial: "I replaced the air filter and cleaned the butterfly valve and seat.It seems to be working just fine.Time will tell if the fix is permanent.THANKS!!!!"

Under the dash drivers side there are mode motors that control where the air comes from replace bad one or both the bottom one is recirculate. You could take a volt meter and see which one has power when you push button
