Mine had a similar problem, there is a wire that goes from the computer to the fuel rail and this wire sends info on how much fuel and when to inject the fuel... if that wire is grounding out then this will cause the lack of cylinders to fire and also explain the inconsistency. So i would start with the fuel rail..hope this is of some help

The best idea is to pull out all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) from Engine Control Module (ECM). Trouble codes can be displayed by the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or by using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector (DLC) of the vehicle.

tdisline_293.jpg
Accessing:
1. Within 5 seconds switch ignition ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON.
2. Count MIL flashes. Note trouble codes.
3. Each trouble code consists of two groups [A] in the figure below.

tdisline_294.jpg
4. The first group of flashes indicates the "tens" of the trouble code.
5. The second group of flashes indicates the "units" of the trouble code.
6. A short pause separates "tens" and "units" [B] in the above picture.
7. A long pause separates each trouble code [C] in the above picture.
8. For example: Trouble code "21" displayed in the above picture.
9. End of test sequence indicated by trouble code "55".
10. Trouble codes can also be displayed by the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or by using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector (DLC) of the vehicle.

Erasing:

NOTE: Disconnecting battery earth lead may cause driveability problems until the engine management system relearns basic values!

1. Ensure ignition switched OFF.
2. Disconnect battery earth lead for at least 30 seconds.
3. Reconnect battery earth lead.
4. Repeat accessing procedure to ensure no trouble codes remain in ECM fault memory.

NOTE: Disconnecting battery may erase memory from electronic units (e.g. radio, clock).

NOTE: Trouble codes can also be erased by using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector (DLC) of the vehicle.

Is there a relay for the injectors on a 2005 Nissan Titan and if so where is it located? Is it internal in the IPDM like the fuel pump relay or is It external?

There is no relay for the injectors. Fuses 54 & 55 in the IDPM supply power to the injectors with the ignition switch in the on or start position, the ECM - engine computer turns them on by supplying a ground in a pulse width modulation .

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The amount of fuel injected from the fuel injector is determined by the ECM. The ECM controls the length of time the valve remains open (injection pulse duration). The amount of fuel injected is a program value in the ECM memory. The program value is preset by engine operating conditions. These conditions are determined by input signals (for engine speed and intake air) from both the crankshaft position sensor and the mass air flow sensor.

Hyundai sonata 2006 no injection pulse there's spark to plugs

Is there an RPM signal reading on the scan tool when the car is cranking? If there's no RPM signal, it's likely there's a problem with the crank sensor or cam sensor. An RPM signal usually indicates the two are good.

If you're getting an RPM signal, I'd back probe the injectors, and look into confirming you have good supply voltage, and a steady 12V on the injector control wires. I'm assuming the injectors are switched on by the computer ground.

If the voltage stays low or remains at 0v on the control wires, you have to look further into the circuit feeding the injectors. A wiring diagram would be best.

What grounds the coils

The ignition module in the distributor normally handles this job as it controls the current flow through the coil.

Weres the ground for injector circuit in 1996 2.4 quad 4

For fuel injection, usually the ground is inside the engine computer. The computer grounds the circuit for a split second to pulse the injectors. When key is on, the injector circuit has constant power to the injectors. When the computer grounds the circuit internally, the injector coil is energized, or pulsed.

98 toy sienna no spark no injector pulse coil and injectors have b+ but they have no ground signal

Dont worry about injection the rule of the is the same, correct for spark and establish it and fuel will come for spark you will need to trouble shoot CKP(cranksensor) and your ICM . The crank sensor is a alernating wave form and the ECM will only see its tope voltage and frequency or RPM, If the signal doesnt generate a good healthy signal ,your ECM will not give fuel injection pulse. The second problem you may be faced with ICM ,this include the Ignitor, its at the left strut tower, for now no spark I would start he trouble shoot at the cranksensor this include the terminalonnection and the toner wheel itself

Turns over but wont start i got fire and fuel to the fuel rail but the injecters are not delivering fuel any ideas whats wronge

sounds like u got no injector pulse comin from ecm.we need to pull ecm codes an review them ,possible camshaft sensors faulty they usually provide reference pulses to ecm for injector firing or pulse.without this pulse ur injectors will never open up to let fuel enter combustion chamber. one way of checking pulse is to connect a noid light(small light bulb that plugs in injector pigtail to chek for power to injector and ur pulsing ground coming from ecm to injector) an test for a blinking light while cranking engine.

Mazda MPV 2.6 1989 good ecm, good injectors (but no voltage), good spark, good fuel pressure, engine cranking, but won't start. If I put a little bit of gas on the air intake it will start. there's no...

You probably have a bad ecm. These engines used the same ecm that the injected b2200 used and they had a lot of problems with capacitors that leaked and damaged the etching on the ecm's circuit board. If you do indeed have 12V on one side of the injectors and no pulsing ground from the ecm, then the problem either in the ecm or the wiring between the ecm and the injectors. When you say good ecm, have you tried a known good one?
If you're really good at desoldering and repairing pc boards, you can fix it yourself, all you'll need is a 47uF capacitor. Or you can send it out.

2001 Daewoo Lanos Fault 63.58X 'B'

DTC 63 Will Set When
No voltage is supplied by the ECM through the EST “B” line while reference pulses are received by the ECM from the crankshaft position sensor
check white wire terminal B on ignition coil to ECM terminal C14 for open circuit or short to ground while disconnected if thats ok check for voltage signal at B while cranking no signal ECU faulty. voltage signal also on A terminal while cranking and check earth terminal C to body no higher than 5 Ohms
power is terminal D 12V
if getting power, earths good, and both signal voltages are going into coil pack, coil pack is faulty.
