Take the inner fender well out, unbolt the fender from the bumper, take the 2 bolts out under the car at the fender, lastly take all the bolts along the fender out, and gently pry it loose

00 celica gts timing chain problems

The timing chain should not routinely need changing, but perhaps the tensioner does.
Try first to eliminate any other causes, like the bearings in the fan, drive belt idlers, or alternator. A useful tool is a long screwdriver which you can apply to the various areas while placing your ear to the top of it while the motor idles.
Be very careful to keep clear of moving parts like fan blades.

Change head lite bulbs 2000 toyota GTA

The easiest way to change them is to remove the 3 bolts that hold the headlight in place, 1 is directly on top of the headlight, 1 can be seen thru the upper radiator support(of course be sure to remove the plastic engine compartment covers if they are installed), and the 3rd is hidden underneath the front bumper cover, to remove the front bumper cover, move aside the inner wheel well panel nearest the sidemarker lights, pull the bumper cover off slighty fron a plastic snap lock that lines up the bumper with the fender, you should see the bolt as soon as you pull the bumper cover. Each bolt is a 10mm patern so I recommend a small ratchet with extension, once you remove the bolts, the headlights come right off. You might have a rubber cover over where the headlight bulbs are located, simlpy unscrew it, or pull it off whatever your vehicle has, I believe the bulb type is H7, its a standard low-beam bulb, keep in mind the passengerside headlamp is attached to the windshield washer refill reservoir which snaps in and out of place. Install is reverse procedure, I hope this helps, and if you need, go to Newcelica.org for ANYTHING Celica related.
