Checked the clockspring, seems ok (continuity when rotating).
Hi Paul. I'm Tim Dorton Nissan Senior Tech. Bad idea to diagnose anything on airbags.The voltage to trigger is very low. Best to have the dealer guys check it with the factory diagnostic stuff. You may find a problem and replace or repair a part, but you will change the resistance of the whole system.

P0321 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Range/Performance. P1456 Leak Detected In EVAP Control System. Sounds like a vaccuum leak somewhere. I would clear these codes out and see if they come back first. Then if they do I would check to see if you have a vacuum line loose or broken off. If they codes stay off it would be ok to keep driving the truck, but if they came back I would definately get it looked at.

Check tire balance, rear wheel bearings and i would replace u joints front and back, anyway if they have never been repaced.

Hello , check the airbag contact sensor behing the grill assembley . They are located to the left and right of the grill almost to the headlight assemblies. Check the wires to them for corrosion and damage. Check the fuse as well. There should be an air bag testing wire or fuse in the fuse panel. DO NOT UNPLUG THE AIR BAG SENSORS OR HIT THEM !!

It is telling you that there is a problem with the air bag system and you will need to have the error code pulled with a scanner to identify what the problem is. Sometimes they will start blinking after you reach a certain amount of miles(usually 100,000) because the air bag system has to be re-inspected after a certain amount of years or mileage.
