Probably has no injector pulse which could be a wiring fault, ECU or immobiliser...

SOURCE: engine cranks but will not run. 89 chevy beretta 2.8

if it not firing change the coils if thats not it then you may want to check the fuse but if not firing i would check the coil because where they are located on the engine under the mainfold it gets real hot there

SOURCE: 1999 chevy 1500 stalled at 70mph turns over and has fuel but no spark

if if the crank sensor has been replaced and still reads bad it could be a timing issue, maybe timing has slipped or maybe timing chain has broke.. remove oil cap and look down into valve pan while someone tries to start it. if rocker arms do not move then this would indicate timing chain or gears are broke.... hope this helps and good luck....please rate this post

1999 chevy suburban wont start. Will crank but no spart. Changed rotor and buggie no help. What now?

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes?

My 1997 GMC Sierra truck, does not start. I have pressure in the fuel line and also sparks.

I'd get a can of easy start or equivalent and see if it runs then, if so and u say u got fuel pressure it can only be a couple of things really 1 crank position sensor cam position sensor rail pressure sensor if it has 1 or ecu fault

1993 chevy c1500 wont start

Have you checked for spark at the plugs? Are you certain that the timing chain and tensioner were installed properly? Camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor are OK? Without the right signal, nothing happens. Have you checked the coil packs, plug wires, and spark plugs? If there is no spark while cranking, you'll have to figure out why, and a shop manual is about the only way to go to do that. If you have spark, then you need to check for fuel at the injectors and the proper injector signal. Have you checked for fuel pressure at the rail? Does the fuel pump run? Is the fuel filter plugged?
It could also be a wiring problem somewhere in the electrical harness. If the right wire or wires are broken or corroded, then it could easily keep the engine from running. Even a loose or broken connector or a bent connector pin can cause all sorts of headaches.

1991 chevy lumina will crank but wont start I checked the fuel pressure it squirts out good and the fuel pump sounds strong I checked spark on the coil its sparking good! I charged the battery its fully...

If you have spark at all the plugs, the crank sensor should be ok. You should use a gage to check fuel pressure? I don't know engine size? For the 3.1L engine, my info says 40--46 psi.
It is possible to have spark at the plugs, but, the computer doesn't see rpm signal. If that is the case, no fuel injector pulse. The purple wire with white tracer carries rpm signal from ignition module to pcm, that wire has dc pulse, engine cranking. If nothing there, have to check ignition module.
How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?

2002 chevy malibu 3100 v6 83,000m, still has no start condition after crank position sensor behind balancer and cam sensor were replaced. fuel pressure is 56 even while cranking and does not leak back...

I think your problem is injectors not firing, and is linked to the Powertrain Control Module. Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to reset the PCM. Reconnect the battery and try to start the car. If it still doesn't start, pull a spark plug and see if the tip of the plug is wet with fuel. If it is dry, then you are not getting fuel to the cylinders. If you have fuel pressure and spark, but noe fuel in the cylinders, it has to be computer related.

2000 chevy express 5.0 2500 series starts, runs and dies all in 10 seconds. changed fuel pump, filter, pressure regulator, and starter(only cause sparks were comming from the solenoid)

Try swapping out the fuel pump relay, if thats good try testing your ignition system components. Start with the module and coil pack. If they are ok check the crank position or cam position sensor (which ever applies).

check to see if you can hear the fuel pump running.just cycle the key to the on position but dont turn over the motor you should hear a humming sound come from the fuel tank.if no sound check your fuses if all ok could be a bad fuel pump
or check to see if you have spark if no spak then it could be the module inside your distributor cap.it also controls the fuel pump.
