SOURCE: Low Pressure Valve 97 Grand Am

The low pressure valve is down by the AC Compressor. It is part of the aluminum manifold that connects directly to the AC compressor. It is accessible from above, but easier to reach from under the car.

By the way, is there any particular reason why you want to recharge your AC system? If it isn't working, adding refrigerant will not necessarily fix the problem. If the refrigerant has all leaked out, you probably need to evacuate the system first.

SOURCE: Where is the A/C high pressure switch located for

The AC refrigerant pressure sensor is located under the air cleaner housing. It can be serviced by putting the vehicle on a lift and removing the air baffle. Then it can be reached from underneath.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the help. It was hard to follow the lines when they disappeared below the air filter. With your help I was able to find the switch."

SOURCE: 07 Chevy Aveo, location of AC Low Pressure Switch

LOCATE THE LOW PRESSURE LINE AND FOLLOW IT, THEY ARE GENERALLY NEAR THE FIREWALL AREA, IF THAT DOESNT WORK, TRY A STANDARD HELMS REPAIR MANUAL, AS IT SHOULD BE LISTED THERE. WORST CASE SENERIO, JUST CALL THE DEALERS SEVICE DEPT. AND THEY SHOULD TELL U WHERE ITS LOCATED AT, AS IT HAS WORKED FOR ME IN THRE PAST.

Where is the A/C cutout switch located on 97 Buick

It has a low pressure sensor on the low side line. You put freon in first and when there is enough pressure the compressor will come on. Never straight wire it, you might cause more damage.
