SOURCE: my 99 cavalier is leaking from the top of my fuel

most likely the leak is the tank its self, dirt sets on top of the tank holding moister on the top of the tank causing little rust pin holes. did you strip the bolt head or the threads? if just the bolt head they make a strip out socket you can get them from your local snap-on tool truck or some sears stores keep them and all can order them, but if you striped the threads you will have to cut the bolt head off and i suggest you have a pro do it for obvious reasons.

Where is the 2.5i fuel pump 1989 Caravelle

NO COUNRY TOLD
NO VIN TOLD, SAD FACE. ENDLESS HERE.
DO NOT RUN THE FUEL PUMP DRY
AS IT IS FUEL LUBRICATED AND COOLED BY FUEL.
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS A
1989 Caravelle A BOAT
A Plymouth Caravelle GUESS THIS.BUT LAST ONE 88
Volkswagen Caravelle, NONE IN USA
NO CLUE
2.5l ENGINE DEAD, SPARK GOOD , FUEL PRESSURE ZERO. PSI.?
1988, CAR SHOWS PARTS ARE
HAS TBI INJECTOR AND
FUEL PUMP IN THE TANK.
IF PUMPS IS GOOD THE FPR IS BAD OR THE 1 INJECTOR IS CLOGGED ARE NOT ALL 35 YEARS OLD CLOGGED UP.

THE THE PUMP ONLY IN THE CAR WITH FUEL IN THE TANK AND 12VDC TO IT CRANKING ONLY.
IF 12VDC IS THERE CRANKED OR 11V.
THAT IS GOOD PUMP; MAYBE (BUT HAS POWER CRANKED,
NEXT IS PSI OUT OF THE FPR.
then if good PSI to spec injector is dead or ecu, has bad injector drivers.
if ECU detects spark is bad it cuts FUEL to injector
by design and by law and ends crash and burn as seen on TV.

95 oldsmobile 88 royale gas tank removal

There are two bolts that hold the two tank straps,
as on almost all fuel tanks

Your problem will be rust,as far as getting the bolts out

Sometimes you have to drill one out & get a new one
at the dealer or sears hardware, etc

Have you started the job & have a question?

I need to replace my puel pump for plymouth voyeger 1999.

The fuel pump in a Plymouth Voyager is electric so you should check the fuses and relays before inspecting the fuel pump itself. If you have fuel in your tank but your vehicle has difficulty getting fuel, you may need to clean your fuel pump or replace it entirely. The Plymouth Voyager comes in a variety of styles and this may affect your choice of fuel pump.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); });
Things You'll Need:
  • Fuel pump kit
  • Socket wrench set
  • Torque wrench
  1. Step 1 Determine the fuel pump that your Plymouth Voyager will require. This depends on the make and model and engine size of your vehicle. Models manufactured from 1991 to 1995 came with a 2.5 L K, 3.0 L Mitsubishi 6G72, 3.3L EGA or 3.8 L EGH engine. Models made after 1995 may have a 2.4 L EDZ, 3.0 L Mitsubishi 6G72, 3.3 L EGA or 3.8 L EGH engine.
  2. Step 2 Relieve the fuel2_bing.gif system pressure and drain the fuel tank. Disconnect the negative battery cable with a socket wrench.
  3. Step 3 Support the fuel tank and loosen the strap bolts with a socket wrench. Remove the fuel line and electrical harness for the fuel pump.
  4. Step 4 Lower the fuel tank so that you can remove the lock ring for the fuel pump. This will allow you to remove the fuel pump.
  5. Step 5 Install the new fuel pump using the items included in the kit. Use a torque wrench to tighten the lock ring and bolts for the main fuel tank straps to 40 ft. lbs. Torque the bolts on the T strap for the fuel tank to 250 in. lbs.
  6. Step 6 Complete the installation by reversing the removal procedure.
