Dodge a/c blows warm while idling

We've had our A/C serviced a few months ago in our 2003 Dodge ram 2500 hemi 4X4. They replaced the air compressor. Just yesterday, while in traffic, the A/C stopped blowing cold and the compressor stops and starts while the truck idles. Any suggestions?

I have no heat inside my cab on a 2003 dodge ram 2500. heater core is not blocked

either you have a bad thermostat or you have a air lock in your heater hoses remember your heater is fed by the hose by the upper rad hose return is the hose going to the water pump, to bleed the air out fill rad leave the rad cap off start engine run for 5 min. the check the coolant level, fill to top of neck replace rad cap tight, K-D tools make a special funnel to solve this air lock problem

The ac in my 2006 dodge 2500 gas engined truck does not blow cold when the engine is at idle. when running normal speeds the air gets cold

start by cleaning or replacing your in cabin air filter. check to see if your AC condenser fan is turning when the AC is turned on. Make sure the front of the radiator is not clogged with bugs, mud, etc. Check AC compressor relay-make sure the compressor clutch is turning the compressor with engine at idle. lastly check for proper refrigerant charge.

My 2004 ram 1500 4x4 has the 5.7 HEMI engine and runs great out on the highway but when i first start it up and take off it blows black smoke and seems like its trying to flood out and uses way too much...

Check the following:- Map sensor, Air flow sensor if fitted instead of map sensor and the engine coolant temp. sensor. When did you last replace the air filter?

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with a cummins diesel that the heating system does not work. It only blows out cold air? I have replaced the thermostat but no improvement. Can you help? CK

I had a 2001 Dodge 3500 with the same issue. In my case, the "air blend door motor" failed. I had it fixed at a Dodge dealership - the motor itself was only about $125 but it cost another $900 for labor - they had to remove the dash & center dash console in order to get to the motor. It did fix the problem though.
