I replaced the brake booster on my 94 accord with abs. bleed all the brakes. worked good for 1 mile then then front brakes were getting to much pressure. I bleed the front two and it helped the problem. But all the wheels are still getting hot which means I have not truly found the issue.
1. new booster
2. bleed all the brakes
3. adjusted the at the pedal ... shortest throw.
4. had to bleed the brakes after test run so the the front brakes would stop from locking up.
5. help
I am under the Exact problem with my 94" accord wagon. In the past 30 days I've replaced 4 new calipers, 2 rear rotors, pads all around, master cylinder, Brake Booster After all of this I tested the vehicle after about a mile it felt like the wheels were locking just a bit. All of my parts were installed today and at this very minute after the test drive I am inclined to believe that I need to adjust the push rod or the linkage under the pedal or both.
Possibly the Proportioning valve. its where the lines go after the master. it has a bleeder screw of some sort on it. The pins inside wear out and stick causing uneven pressure. Replace or rebuild it if that be the case. Also chect the master for fluid leaks at the end of the piston where it connects to the booster push rod. If its leaking rebuild or replace it.
