try dissconecting battery bout ten minutes.make sure fuel cap tight also.if lite still on will need to hook up to scanner(repair shop) to clear code and reset.it senced fuel vapour leak
Check all your fluid levels. Oil, coolant, (only when engine is cool), brake fluid, also check that your fuel cap is on tightly. If these are all ok then you will have to have the vehicle checked for trouble codes via the cars on board diagnostic computer.
code P1456 set when there's small leak in the fuel tank system.
Most known reason for P1456:
-Didn't tight fuel cap on until it click for more that 3 time after fueling up and drove the car too long with cap loose.
-or a bad gas cap.
I'll try tighting the gas cap.
clear check engine.
if code come back, replace gas cap and clear check engine light again.
2nd click could be fuel pump engaging...what about the fuses under the hood... is there gas getting to the engine?? is there a safety shut off switch that needs resetting? have you checked the ground wire?
